Sandy Beach Motel

Got a great rate on a room after car broke down on a road trip. I even got to check out late while my car was getting fixed. Beautiful setting on the lake. Super friendly hosts and ducks too! Many thanks.

Great location. Super kid friendly. Has two big gas grills free to use. Kiyaks, canoe and beach chairs on a "private" beach. Rooms have a full kitchen and your own picnic table outside. The staff put on a night time, glow stick, freeze tag game for the kids in the communal grass courtyard at dusk. Great memories. Would have been a 5 star rating but the front desk lady was a bit snarly which left a mar on an otherwise awesome vacation.

Is a great place to stay if you can get in and have the cash. The service is great, the privacy is wonderful, the beach is almost perfect. I have been many times. The only complaint that I have is a recent one; the extra occupancy fee for staying overnight as a visitor starts with three year olds. This place is perfect for families of all ages, especially younger children. But the fee starting with the age of 3? Anyway, perfect Besides that.

We were just visiting my in-laws but their room was super adorable and the grounds and views were super nice. I would absolutely stay there in the future!

Very friendly manager and helpful. Clean and quiet. Would highly recommend it for short or long term stay.
