Holiday Inn & Suites - Osoyoos

We paid almost $800 for two nights, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.nnThe room was incredibly dirty. The carpet was so filthy that after walking barefoot for just a couple of steps, the bottoms of our feet turned black. The bathroom design was also very strange—there wasn't even a proper sink in the bathroom. Instead, the sink was located right beside the bed, which was very inconvenient.nnThe breakfast was a disaster. There was no cheese at all, and the scrambled eggs looked and tasted like they had been sitting out since the previous day. The overall quality and selection were extremely disappointing.nnWhat frustrated us the most was the housekeeping. We asked the front desk in the morning to clean our room. When we returned in the afternoon to rest, the room had not been cleaned. We had to ask three separate times, and in the end, all they did was change the blanket. The room itself remained dirty.nnFor the price we paid, we expected a clean room and decent service. Unfortunately, we received neither. I would not recommend this hotel and would never stay here again.

Way too expensive for what we got. Paid $880 total for 2 nights. They put us in a pet friendly room which is only on the ground floor facing the street and there wasn't anything that made it pet friendly. No grass, just cement and looking right onto the road. The living room looked very ghetto. Bed were comfortable enough. Toilet was so close to the sink that your body would be touching the sink while you're using it. No drinking water provided. The beach was the smallest compared to all the hotels beaches - but the water was perfection. Staying at an motel would've been cheaper and probably better

Had been traveling all day and all the day before. Was tired and looking forward to the room. Checked in and went to the room and there was no power. No lights. Nothing. Called front desk. They didnt answer or maybe phone also wasnt working cuz no power. Walked down to front desk to tell them no power. They said they would send someone right away. Entire hotel reeks like weed. Main floor, elevator, 3rd floor. Strong undeniable. Went back to $420 /night room. Waited 15min in the dark. Noone came. Packed up all our bags and went back down to front desk. Asked for different room. They gave no explanation as to why Noone came up or why there was no power. No apology. No offer to upgrade. Nothing. Go to new room. Lights turn on. Great. Turn on TV. Telus optic tv. Every show I tried to watch freezes every 3 seconds. Garbage. Sat on bed took shoes off. Stood up and stepped on a screw. Ouch. Beautiful view though. Also had to park $120,000 work truck on the road. This hotel didnt let me know of its amenities, close places to eat, anything included during my stay or that they had open wifi not requiring any password.

One of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had — serious pest, cleanliness, maintenance, and disclosure issuesnnWe stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Osoyoos from May 15–18, 2026, and this was an absolutely horrible experience for my family.nnWe drove approximately 5–6 hours for what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation. Instead, we ended up dealing with serious cleanliness, pest, maintenance, amenity, and disclosure issues that made the stay stressful, upsetting, and completely unacceptable for an IHG/Holiday Inn-branded property.nnThe most disturbing issue happened on our final night when we found a mouse running inside our guest room. The mouse got into our food bag and contaminated our food. My wife and children were scared to sleep in the room. We had to use towels ourselves to block gaps around the kitchen area, fridge, stove, and doors to try to prevent the mouse from moving around the room. No guest should ever have to do that in a hotel room they paid for.nnThis was not a minor inconvenience. A mouse inside a guest room, especially one that gets into a family’s food, is a serious cleanliness and comfort issue. It made the room feel unsanitary and unsafe, and it completely ruined the final night of our stay.nnThere were also several other serious problems. We experienced a ceiling leak near the room entrance, dirty/discoloured tap water, no working Wi-Fi, and breakfast not being provided as expected despite being included with the booking. There was no proper breakfast venue due to renovations, and the replacement breakfast was extremely limited, consisting of microwavable grab-and-go items such as burritos and quiche. Breakfast items also ran out during the first two mornings of our stay.nnThese issues should have been clearly disclosed before booking and before check-in. Guests should not arrive after paying a premium rate and discover that the actual experience is materially different from what was represented.nnI do want to acknowledge that the front desk agent, Gurpreet Kaur, was very polite, accommodating, empathetic, and kind to us. She treated us respectfully and did her best during a very frustrating situation. Unfortunately, the property issues were far beyond what front desk staff could reasonably fix.nnThe hotel provided a partial refund, but based on the seriousness of the mouse in the room, food contamination, leak, dirty water, Wi-Fi failure, reduced breakfast service, and lack of proper disclosure, I do not feel the stay was worth anything close to what we paid.nnThis was supposed to be a relaxing family trip. Instead, it became one of the most stressful and disappointing hotel stays we have ever experienced. I would not recommend this hotel unless major corrective action is taken.

Not what we expected. We Understood the hotel had under gone renovations prior to booking with completion two weeks prior to our arrival. The front entrance and grounds lack any kind of curb appeal. The exterior has been painted and the lobby is ok. There is no accommodation to check in before 3:00 pm. If we were in an upgraded room it was not upto par and the workmanship is definitely questionable. The room was large but with miss matched furniture, king bed didn’t fit on the head board, same faucets and tub and set up very inefficient and incredibly tight barely room to close the bathroom door leaves you feeling like the Reno was not executed well. We had to manhandle the sliding door to the balcony to get it open and closed, balcony needs some work, no breakfast offered and our recycling bin had not been emptied from the previous guest. The redeeming quality is we had a small balcony with an awesome view. We won’t stay there again as value for money is not there.
