Holiday Inn & Suites - Osoyoos

I understand the issues others had… my stay wasn’t totally perfect… but the staff were quick to resolve any issues, very friendly, accommodating, and to others… remember you’re in a resort community so staffing levels are always a challenge. Pricing was competitive considering location, views, and the year round indoor pool and hot tub. Not to mention this still follows corporate standards for a chain hotel unlike some of the dumpy old motels around. I considered the coast next door until I saw that the holiday inn had secured underground parking. My only recommendation is having adult hours in the pool/hot tub. Kids will be kids but would be nice to have an adult only hour from 9-10pm. However I was still so impressed I decided to extend my stay. Many thanks to the wonderful staff. Cheers!

Service was great. Location is beautiful. We came with 3 small children 3 under 3 and found 1 Advil nighttime on the ground of the rooms with the bunk beds the children’s room as well as a Tylenol. They weren’t even under anything they were just by the door. Could have been very scary as it was my 1 year old and my 3 year old who pointed them out when we got into their room. I mentioned it and they didn’t offer and apology or anything just took the pills and said “okay” and through them in the garbage. Maybe they don’t have kids We paid $220 for the night. They were very accommodating when we needed a late check out however!

I stay at the hotel 3-5 times per year throughout all seasons for work related travel, for typically a week at a time. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet and nicely appointed for work desk and bright. Microwave and fridge are perfect for light meals or snacks. Balconies on rooms are roomy with outdoor seating for enjoying the amazing views. Wifi is consistently available. Parking is clean and secure under the hotel and the location is within walking distance to amenities and lakeside trails. The beach at the hotel is tidy and the lounge chairs are always tidied and arranged each night during the summer season. I used to stay at Hyatt or Walnut Beach resorts but found this local hotel and its staff to be superior. Highly recommend for work and vacation travel accommodation.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in and I have traveled for business for 30 years. I stayed in a pay by the hour block hotel in Compton CA because I couldn’t get anything closer to lax and it was cleaner. The heat is pumping at 30 Celsius and they can’t turn it off. No wonder there is black mold everywhere. It’s a constant sauna in here. Do not stay here. You have been warned. I will be having our corporate travel remove this location as a preferred vendor.

Great location, that’s it. Hotel desperately needs a renovation; or at least a decent cleaning. You can smell its age as you walk in to the lobby and the corridors. Front staff needs training on basic courtesy we’re Canadians eh? and concern resolution. Will likely explore options nearby for next time, even if I am an IHG member.
