Avalon Inn

Very nice room. It was clean and comfortable. Stayed on the labour day long weekend. We sat out on the balcony which was also a nice thing to do. The desk clerk was helpful and I'm sorry I didn't get his name . We will definately be back.

If your looking for a Quiet, Clean, Friendly Staffed, Comfortable ,Relaxed place to stay I highly recommend Avalon Inn. Staff is GREAT, the porch is a perfect place to sit after getting a Timmys (right across the street), and it has an overall "GOOD VIBE" ! When Im going to Osoyoos...! Always choose the Avalon Inn.

This was our family's worst stay at a hotel ever. I had just gone to bed when I heard water dripping from somewhere. I went to investigate and eventually learned that it was toilet water from the bathroom above us leaking into our bathroom. When my husband went to tell the front desk of the leak (before we knew the source) he was told that there was nothing that could be done and was offered some extra towels. My husband suggested that the person get up and investigate. Turned out to be an overflowing toilet which of course happens. My main complaint is the lack of acknowledgement by the manager regarding how disgusting this situation was. No attempts were made to assist us to manage the problem besides giving us towels. No staff ever entered our suite to assess the severity of the problem. They did not offer for our us to change rooms and when I asked about the possibility I got a wishy washy response that he didn't know what was available. (We decided not to pursue this option as I didn't want to wake my children in the night).  The hotel did not reduce or eliminate our fee for the night.  I have experienced much smaller problems in hotels that were also out of the control of the management and have felt that the other establishments went out of their way to assist us and compensate us with a reduced rate or a free night. I have two children and lay awake most of the night worrying that the flood would happen again and they would walk into the bathroom for a night time pee and have a horrible fall slipping on the water. The slogan of the Avalon is Rest Assured. Ha - rest assured that whatever happens you're on your own and will still pay $200 for a two star hotel. Overall, the Avalon was a really crappy place to stay (pun intended!). So disgusting and very sloppy service.

Nice place clean and good location I only have 1 complaint beds are very hard been a long time since I've had circulation problems every night was tough beds are cheap these days they need to upgrade other than that it was good
