Hidden just by the plaza by the shell at Terry fox/kanata avenue, Sandwich factory is worth a try if you’re looking for a tasty and fresh sandwich. Highly recommend getting the steak as your protein with the egg bread. You can choose up to 3 different meats/protein which is a great option- I do love a good variety! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. There’s a noticeable effort of care that goes into these sandwiches and you can tell the staff are patient but it also makes for a long wait, especially doing rush hour. Probably the only “negative” thing I would say is the wait times. Hopefully something they can work on to be more efficient !

Visited for the first time today with my wife. Got a bowl and a sandwich. There's a lot of options for toppings, they all seemed very fresh and quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and helped with the entire process. My wife was very happy to be able to put potato chips on her sandwich. Will definitely be going back for more. One other thing to note is the prices are very good and the portions I found generous too. Parking: Plenty of free parking in the back close to the doors to get in. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and ramp right in front of the doors to get into the place, no stairs. Dietary restrictions: They offer Gluten Free bread / salad bowl options.

First time trying out this store. Their sandwich is very fresh and tasty. Honestly, the best I’ve ever had, even better than the ones I’ve made myself. Staffs were super approachable and kind. Love this place. Definitely RECOMMEND.

Had the chicken cutlet with added garlic aioli absolutely fantastic, and the steak sandwich. The latter could use a bit more aioli, which they gave us freely. The meat is sirloin, which is amazing for a sub. Their Portuguese bread is also quite good. Macaroni salad tasted freshly made. Seating was bar-style, the place is nice and bright and the bathroom was very clean. Super happy to have this little joint in Kanata! Will definitely go back to try more combinations.

Awesome place. Glad we discovered it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was very tasty. Only one vegetarian choice but, was delicious. I suggest adding more vegetarian choices such as tofu, black beans, chick peas.......it's a local restaurant. I will be returning 100%

Very yummy and fresh. Only one vegetarian option for protein; falafel, which was very tasty get extra sauce as they are normally dry hopefully more vegetarian options will be added in the future. I recommend going here and I will be returning

Sandwich Factory just became my go to sandwich spot. Tons of options to choose from and ingredients super fresh and the owners very friendly and answered all my questions. Get there early the fresh cookies disappear fast.

I got myself two subs. First Sub: -turkey, steak, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, hot pepper, spicy eggplant, house sauce. Not toasted. Second Sub: -turkey, chicken, havarti, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, hot pepper, spicy eggplant, house sauce. Not toasted. Only thing I would add next time is their house oil. Otherwise, exactly what I was looking for in a sandwich. From flavour to freshness to the bread... delicious. Food is my love language. So when I am craving something I'll drive for it, no matter what end of the city it is in. Used to have to visit DiRienzo or Nicastro, which are a ways away from Kanata, for this type of sandwich. Now when I am in the mood for it, I can find it right down the road. 5-Star establishment with top notch service. Cheers

Been wanting to try this with my girlfriend for awhile. Worth the wait! By far the best sandwiches we’ve had. I do hope they can get more recognition because they deserve it. Super friendly staff and great food!

Staff was so friendly and informative about process. This is upscale subway with actual fresh ingredients. Can customize your own sandwich to how you like it, and you can even get potato chips as a topping! The house sauce was amazing on my sandwich. Just over 10 bucks. So worth it . Will be back
