Safi Fine Foods

Safi Fine Food is one of my favourite places to go and eat. They have such a variety of options for food and beverage. I highly recommend their cheeseburger, poutine, Tandoori Chicken Wrap and Iced Matcha Latte. Also the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I would like to just say a massive thank you to the staff, you are all amazing.

Safi has been my go-to work spot in the Sandy Hill area since moving to Ottawa. It's a gorgeous cafe with a selection of grocery options as well if you need bread, cheese, or other odds and ends. The space is decorated beautifully. The service is always excellent. There is lovely patio seating in the summer with cozy seating options inside for the colder months. Proximity to the park is nice too, if you want to grab your goodies and enjoy a nice walk along the river. The coffee is excellent and I highly recommend their tandoori chicken sandwich which is made on the grill-top in full view. No pre-made panini-pressed sandwiches here, get it made fresh with quality ingredients to your liking. If you're looking for something lighter, my favorite snack is the samosas made in-house veg, chicken, or beef, all delicious and affordable. It's always a pleasure to visit this criminally underrated little spot. Vegetarian options: Veggie samosas are to die for. Dietary restrictions: Lots of halal options.

This place is very charming and decorated beautifully. It is accessible for people with mobility aids and has lots of delicious food options. The mango nectar, croissants and iced latte made for a lovely brunch.

I just got back from visiting Ottawa and let me tell you, I already miss Safi!!! The food is PHENOMENAL and the customer service is top notch. I keep thinking about the food I ate there and how delicious it was. I cannot wait to return in the future!!! You don't want to miss this place! Make the stop!

Simple tasty cheap-ish food. Im GF and veggie, so i got a tofu bowl wo pita chips. The menu items are not labeled as gluten-free or not, which is a nuisance. Thanks to the person who made me the food. When i went, there was only one person working, both cash and cook. It would have been better if the dishes and items were labelled as gf or not. Vegetarian options: Gf options aren't labeled, but they just didnt add pita chips to my bowl.

The best place to grab food around Sandy hill , I always come for my morning coffee here and the owner mo is the nicest guy ever. Recommend 100% if you want some well priced and amazing foodFood: 5/5

The staff are super friendly and personable. They had the best samosa's I've ever had! Handmade in house, I got every flavour and they were all incredible.Food: 5/5

Safi Fine food was pretty ordinary . I struck me as a corner store with a fancy name. The products on offer were mostly resold products you can find at a grocery store but at higher prices of course. There were some prepared foods available like tabouleh and salads, as well as a limited amount of hot finger foods.

I've totally given up on this place, used to be amazing when Safi actually ran it but now the staff barely even look at you when serving you, and no please or thank yous anywhere. And the prices are totally insane for low quality bread and veggies

Safi fine foods is one of my cozy get aways in Ottawa. The ambience of the store,the variety of things to purchase and also the friendliness of the staff present. Will give a solid 9/10.Food: 5/5
