Vino Volo

It is a relaxing spot. There seem to be quite a few staff to serve the few table that are occupied but no one came to serve us for a very long time it’s an airport!. I finally waved over someone who said what did I want. Said we wanted to order. I asked if we ordered at the bar. She then served us. Pizza was ok not anywhere as good as Farm Boy but went cold almost instantly. Very slow to remove dirty items after. Sangria not as good as many places I have been. But it’s calm and a quiet spot in the airport.

This place is ok if your gate is near.. there isn't anything good at the airport right now as they are renovating couple places. The food here is actually pretty good.. but everything is way overpriced.Food: 4/5

You saved us VV! Late night flight, delayed several times and NO food was open behind security. But just before they closed the kitchen the VV team kindly with care, kindness for our situation and no attitude made several passengers and myself to-go charcuterie boxes quick time so we could get back to our area to wait and see if we would fly out tonight. They totally could have closed, it wasn’t enough $ to stay open and help us, but they did. And every one of us will never forget it. I’ve here before, the food and service was good and as a frequent business traveller I appreciate this nicer spot in the Ottawa airport.

This morning I ordered Vino Volo's BLTA without the B bacon and some hot chocolate. The sandwich was delicious, they toasted the sourdough perfectly in and everything tasted fresh. The hash browns were a bit plain, they lacked flavour, but at least they weren't greasy. Now the hot chocolate category has suffered this week, and it's not going to get better. They served it in a nice glass, but it was boiling hot and not much flavour. I would've appreciated some milk, but the staff weren't very helpful. All in all the sandwich was good, but I wouldn't return.

HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! I travel almost once a month and I try to find a place to sit and have a relaxing drink. I was waiting in line for 10mins until I was told to seat at the bar. I was then seated and handed the menu list. Moments pass and I tried to make eye contact and even waved to atleast order a drink. 25mins after... Remember!!!! I have been seated at the bar waiting for 25mins. NOBODY attended me nor even asked me for a drink! NO ONE!!! For 25 MINUTES, they kept passing back and forth as if I do not exist. Instead of having a relaxing cold drink before I fly, I only got stressed and upset. I never got any drink and I wasted my time for half an hour. This is unacceptable, I request the manager of this branch reach out to me, to apologize!! The lady didn't even apologize, after I have shared my frustration, instead she asked me "Do you still want to order?" I replied, "after waiting for 25 minutes I don't think so" The lady then fiercely grabbed the menu list of my side and walked away. I will never come to this place and I will definitely tell people I know how horrible is the customer service in this place.

Tried the avocado toast, it was not bad. I liked the cappuccino as well. The meats board was nothing too great. I would probably not go here again.

We were already having a bad day with our flight being cancelled and being forced on a 20 hour layover in the Ottawa airport. As our flight was cancelled we were issued food vouchers by lynx air, and we attempted to use these vouchers at Vino Volo to cover our food. As soon as we gave the vouchers to them they immediately started grilling us about where we got the vouchers, and how they’ve never seen anything like them/hadn’t seen this before. This is fair as lynx airs food vouchers are not the most professional looking. However they refused to accept the vouchers and laughed at us when they saw them, and seemed to infer we’d made it up/made them ourselves. This behaviour was extremely unprofessional, rude, snobby and dismissive. We’ve had a difficult enough time with Lynx and are annoyed ourselves at their unprofessionalism, without a restaurant making us feel we are at fault for the poor service. For anyone who wants to be subject to judgement by an entitled serving staff this is the perfect place for you!

Stood in line for over 10 minutes with the servers walking back and fourth and saying nothing. Finally was able to sit down because I just went to the bar and took forever for someone to greet you. It’s unfortunate as this is one of the only places open past 7pm to eat in the airport.Food: 3/5

One of the best experiences I've had! My server Shai Was the best server I've ever had, so friendly, fun, enthusiastic and very quick with my order. You can have a flight if you wish to taste multiple wines. I highly recommend the Ham & Gruyére sandwich . Super tasty, everything was fresh and beautifully toasted.

Nice open restaurant whilst waiting for a flight. Pizza, sandwiches, wine, beers. Decent service. Pleasant enough
