Nice hotel, helpful, courteous staff. It was busy with kids sports teams in town for tournaments and my room was right beside the elevator, vending & ice machines so it was very loud. The mattress was firmer than I like and pillows obnoxiously fluffy and overstuffed, I'll remember to bring my own or ask for a different one during check in. Overall it's a decent option and location; right off Gaetz, close to the Westerner Park & shopping.

Stayed 3 nights. Employees are lovely. Pleasant atmosphere and clean. Pool is a little underwhelming. Moxies is very yummy. All in all a good experience.

Cold water, no sheet, overbook! Doesn’t that sound amazing? We booked around 10 room for our trip to Red Deer during the family day weekend for a soccer tournament, and all I can say is horrible. If I could give a 0/5 stars I would. First off, one of our rooms asked for a cot because of the amount of people staying in a room and guess what happened when they checked in? They got a hotel room on the wrong floor and one bed. The least they could do was give them a double bed room or upgrade them to a suite. They even told them to book at another hotel. Poor service at its finest. At this point we already hated the hotel but I would rate it a 3/5 then but it just got worse. They asked for some blankets for a makeshift bed on the floor but recieved cold wet sheets. Second, the girls in our team went to the lobby to hang out and all they got were dirty looks. They set up nice board games for kids to play but decided to glare at them when they were doing so. The kids also went to the pool and played around and ended up getting yelled at by an old women that worked there. Horrible. They weren’t even asked to stop but yelled at right away. Not once but twice. I think it is unbelievable and unacceptable for a woman of her age to yell at young children. I understand that people can have bad days but to yell at children? Her reasoning was water getting on the ground but it’s a pool... and kids “throwing water.” That was untrue because water was already there and she just assumed that our kids were the ones that “threw water.” That is the end of that story because I feel like I should not explain myself for this poor service at this low quailty hotel. Thank god we stopped our girls from going into the pool because it was full of bandages and garbage. Third, the WiFi. The WiFi only worked in one, single spot which was the lobby where our girls got dirty glares. How do you expect a few teens in this generation to deal with no internet. If they want internet let them be and let them hang out in the lobby with out being scared by staff. They came back to their rooms scared by staff and managers. Last, thanks for the plain tea and coffee. The tv has the Olympics although the same 5 channels was a bit repetitive.

Fairly standard hotel! Clean rooms, albeit a bit dated. Friendly room service provided by Moxies for my late-night snack. Hotel reception was friendly.
