Its a good hotel ! Booked 3 days here for work. Staff is super friendly and very helpful when you need something. Breakfast is good and the area is well maintained and cleaned frequently. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy! I mean what do you need else unless your a little princess .. or your name is Karen ; . There a nice little garden area with a pool to enjoy some evening talks and a swim .
Honestly, one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever had. we got in extremely late. The room smelled stale and old smoke. The beds were old and super soft. If my husband even moved a foot-the whole mattress would move! the ceiling in our room - looked like there had been a flood in the room above and was bubbled. I couldn't sleep at all. and our stay was 5 nights. Absolutely terrible! we were charged a ridiculous rate for the low quality of the hotel. I will never stay here again. The Hotel from outside looks very nice. as soon as you walk in - you know the entire inside needs a huge renovation. From the carpets in the entrance way, to the tiny smelly elevator. The walls are damaged. the carpets are old. the ceilings are stained. unless you are only staying for one night and the rate is super low - like under $90 a night. then RUN away.
This hotel was very accommodating to us seeing as we were a group of 35 people with two babies. The courtyard was beautiful and the salt water pool was definitely one of the nicer ones that I have been swimming in. We also had catering for our Thanksgiving supper and the food was delicious with a great selection. All in all, this stay was amazing and I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is fine for short term stays. There’s a pool, a gym, complimentary daily hot breakfast, and a cute inner courtyard. The staff are friendly and were very accommodating and understanding. However, the place is old and rundown. The first room I had the AC didn’t work and it was unpleasantly hot. I couldn’t open the window either because the screen was broken. The room I was moved to was better. On my third day, the maintenance guy came into the gym after me and told me the AC is broken and offered to open the door to the courtyard to help cool the room down. Honestly only giving this hotel a 2 star review because of the staff and the manager. If it wasn’t for them, it definitely would’ve been a significantly worse experience.
The room was clean and staff was super friendly! Was greeted by a really nice lady, Jaiden at front desk and they had all that I needed for the 1 night i stayed. Unfortunately i was in a split room and the guests next to me were pretty disrespectful being really loud and I’m not one to typically complain about these things I reported it to front desk and the gentleman working was very professional about it and must’ve handled it as I didn’t hear them for the rest of the night. It’s not the hotel’s fault, just happy they were courteous of stepping in! : wish I could give credit by name, I stayed the night of Oct 12 if that helps!
Atrium and the pool is really cool! Room was clean and bed was really comfortable. We stayed in the king suite on the upper floor and had no issues. Requested room service when we left the room at 1pm and when we got back at 4pm it was spotless. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I would leave negative stars if possible. If I could use one word to review this hotel is DON'T. This was by far the worst hotel stay of my life. It started with being checked in to a dirty room but they quickly rectified that. Our new room was not clean at all from white stains on curtains to garbage in sofa, mirrors and windows so cloudy you can't see out of them. Our tub didn't drain which took many trips from maintenance to clear, a shower curtain barely hanging on so the entire bathroom filled with water when used, to a toilet that didn't flush. Maintenance spent more time in our bathroom during our stay than we did. On top of all that they only clean your room if you specifically request it. Food is terrible at breakfast. The staff have been friendly and did tend to my concerns but that doesn't make up for the stay. This hotel is over priced for its condition! Like I said earlier do not be fooled by online photos and when it comes to booking in at this hotel DONT!
Stayed 2 weeks while working in Red Deer and was very happy with the room clean and possibly renovated and the staff very friendly. I was a female traveller, and always felt very safe. I would stay here again, but remember to bring my swimsuit, as I couldn’t enjoy the pool.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel has seen much better days. Upon arrival I noticed that the asphalt parking lot is crumbling and there are large sheets of plywood fixed to the roof. Parts of the inside are nicer and you can tell the staff are working hard to keep this place alive. The staff were very friendly and professional and the positive aspects of this stay are entirely to their credit. This was a larger booking with multiple rooms. There seemed to be some confusion with some of the bookings at first and staff quickly sorted it out. I liked having the courtyard in order to gather with relatives who were also staying in the hotel. However, many of the booths seat covers were either cut or torn open and the stuffing was laying around and most surfaces were visibly dirty and sticky. The beds were not supportive and I had a very poor sleep as did relatives in separate rooms. The breakfast made me feel sad. I didn't bother going the second morning there, which is unfortunate because apparently it was much better on a Saturday. On the plus side, only one of my family's vehicle got broken into in the night and ransacked. Maybe don't stay here.
We had a great time! We love the pool area with the tropical gardens and how cozy it is in the evening with the lighting and lots of sunshine in the morning. Friendly staff at front desk. Breakfast was hot and delicious including eggs, sausage and pancakes.Rooms: 4/5
