My husband and myself stayed there 4, 5 days, I found that This hotel was fairly run down peeling wallpaper And so on. The side door does not lock properly I did speak to the front desk about it and the problem was not fixed, I've seen some interesting characters coming down the stairs. The rooms were not perfect, I have worked hotels before and I'm pretty sure there's only a half an hour cleaning limit for each room. I've seen some of the worst rooms left and there's no way I a half hour will clean those rooms. What I did see was The cleaning people work their a**** off, I give a shout out to the cleaning ppl as it's not a easy job.
Really good location.nService was really helpful once I was there. We did a reservation and never got our confirmation Wich it made the trip a bit stressful. I forgot the name of the girl in the desk but she was super helpful she wear glasses, she was super nice and fix the room and the problem we had with the online check in. !nI stay there June 21st so she was working that Friday evening. Please tell her thanks !
Stayed in Penticton for 5 nights and this hotel is exceptional for its age. The AC is blasting while it’s nearly 40 degrees outside! The service is also impeccable. Shout out to Tracy for being so welcoming and accommodating during my stay.
the lady in the front desk on our 2nd day stay -- free upgrades and late checkouts -- there was no coffee and the coffee machine wasn't working. Bath tub was plugged but they fixed it. the room is okay but would prefer a room facing outside instead of the enclosed pool. The fan in the pool area is too loud to enjoy the pool and hot tub. other than that, the service was great.
My rating is based more on the room than the service itself. The staff at reception were great, but the room, not so much. The toilet didn't flush properly and upon inspection, it had been like that before our stay. There were also a couple of areas of the carpet that clearly weren't vacuumed. Crumbs galore! I didn't expect anything super duper fancy, but cleanliness and a functioning toilet are pretty standard expectations
