This was our first stay at Balcomo and, even though it was a busy Canada Day weekend, the staff all went out of their way for us.nnWe arrived early and had no trouble checking in. We had a cot for our daughter with special needs, and they made sure the bed was comfortable for her.nnThe facility is really nicely kept and they take pride in cleanliness. The pool area is fantastic and we had a great time swimming.nnWe will gladly stay here again when in the area.
I've stayed here 3 times now and it keeps getting better. Rooms are clean and bright. Some bigger than others. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool is big and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and I love the ground floor rooms with the patios that look onto the grounds with patio tables and chairs. There are BBQ's to cook your own meals. A great place to stay and great value!
Great place to stay! The restaurant has good food and great happy hour prices for appies and drinks. The location makes it easy to walk down to the boardwalk on okanagan lake and the channel for a float. The pool is awesome and the rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping did an amazing job of keeping the rooms clean and were super friendly and approachable! Definitely will be back next summer.
Descent place to stay. Room are clean and not too small. The pool is warm which is a game changer. super kids friendly place made for families. The issue was there is no showers around the pool so kids would jump in without a shower before and after. The hot tub smelled so bad and I hope my kids didn't pick up all sorts of fungus.nOverall service was great.
Have stayed here twice now in 2024. The latest time in the tower, 3rd floor. Nice to overlook the golf course, but the rooms have a serious lack of noise insulation. Could hear conversations and yelling through the wall next door and people stomping around above. Bed and linens were OK-nothing special.
