Sammy's Donair

Having heard about this place from a friend, and knowing they've been a Burlington institution for 35 years, I had high expectations. The Donair was closer in consistency to gyro than I was expecting, and $10 seems like a lot for a takeout sandwich. I also dislike places that don't take debit or credit. I'm sure it contributes to the bottom line, but it's 2018 and I almost never have paper money on me.

Sammy's is lit, I come here frequently with family. The donairs are consistently good, can't speak for their other items as I haven't tried them. Be prepared to take cash, they don't accept credit/debit. They have an ATM if needed.

I couldn't shove the donair in my face fast enough!!! I was in love at first bit!! Food was incredible ! Staf was amazing! Service impeccable ! The only thing I was not impressed with, cash only . They do have a Bank machine to the right of the register , however it's an extra $1.50 to use it. Regardless , I look forward to my next visit!!!

The best Donairs anywhere!! Worth the drive to Burlington!! Eating there since teenager!!

Absolutely love this place, best Donairs ever! The service and the food is the best!
