Sal's Bakery -Grove Village

They have done every cake for us since they opened I have been a huge supporter. That is 6 cakes per year. I love their cakes it’s not too sweet always moist and the fillings we like which are the fruit filling is always so on point! Thank you for making every occasion a special one with your cakes.

I go to Sal's Bakery for specific items as it's a it away for us to go but their breads, cakes and cookies are good and worth the trip. This trip was for Easter Bread.Tooka free raffle for a large chocolate Easter egg. Today we were called. We won, Yummy dark chocolate HUGE egg. Thank you Sal's Bakery.

Always a great experience at Sal’s. They’re the South Shore’s best bakery by a mile. Lots of excellent tasty and beautiful pastries, cakes and breads. Service is great and the location has lots of parking. They also have a great Instagram page.

Sal’s Bakery is the BEST!! Kristina listened and wrote down my every fine detail and artistically created the perfect cake!! The details were not only perfect, but the taste and moistness of the cake by far the best I ever had!!! Thank you again Kristina!!

This bakery has become our go to for desserts. Whenever we are visiting friends or family we make a stop here. I loved the option of a pastry/cookie platter they had before covid, I haven’t seen it since but it was a perfect mix. So many choices, it’s hard to not walk out with a little bit of everything. One of our favorites is the apple cheese meltaway. We now have special requests when visiting family from out of town. Updated review after ordering our first custom cake, it was delicious and fresh, everyone at the party asked where we got it and complemented how good it was.

Cake was beautifully decorated but the taste was mediocre. Cake was dryish and the buttercream and filling was lip puckering sweet. Not really worth the price we paid in my opinion. Can get a much tastier cake for less else where

Two of the girls behind the counter would not get me the fresh 7-layer cookies from the case they insisted that I get prepackaged ones from the shelf telling me they were made that morning but it was more like they were put in the plastic container that morning but made at least the day before and were extremely dry. Someone should also explain to these girls that serving from the counter justifies their jobs.

Sal's Bakery is my go-to for any custom cakes or pastries and their pricing is very fair for a good product.

Easy to work with , followed directions perfectly, very good pricing and most importantly THE CAKE WAS DELICIOUS! Thank you guys for making my fiancés bday special and tasty

We ordered our daughter a birthday cake from Sal's this past weekend. She wanted an ice cream cake with two flavors and sprinkles all over the cake. I spoke with Maria on the phone to place the order. She was so helpful and accomodating. This was the first time we used Sal's for a birthday cake, and all I have to say is the BEST CAKE EVER!!! We were so happy with how it came out and how delicious it was!! We used to use another place for all our birthday cakes, not anymore.....we will only use Sal's going forward!! Can't wait to also try their specialty donuts and other baked goods!
