Highly recommend if you are looking for pleasurable food with great and interesting flavors. Cute restaurant in a great area of the town. Great patio space and indoor space, feel intimate and inviting. Service was really friendly , knowledgeable with the right amount of being attentive.Awesome energy. Great selection of choices on the menu. Many dishes on the menu have different Asian twists, each dishes are very thoughtful and absolutely delicious. Good drink selection as well. It has been one of few very fulfilling food experience for me in a long time. Highly recommend if you are looking for great food to eat in a great set up, you will be at a perfect place.

Spectacular food, amazing atmosphere, amazing experience! We went on a Friday night at 6:30pm and it was a full house. Our server was kind and very attentive. We ordered the octopus as an appetizer to share between two people and it was delicious! The plate was beautiful and I was so excited to eat it I didn't even think to snap a picture. My fiance had the stir fry, and my brother had the 1/2 fried chicken. I ordered the mussels, which was a weekly feature. It was more than enough for an entree, and the fried rice cake was such a unique addition to soak up the broth. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We will absolutely be back to try all the other menu items.

Amazing East Asian Fusion with unique dishes and an extensive drink menu and craft cocktails. Service is fast and friendly with a relaxed yet lively ambiance. Everything we ordered was delicious, the standouts being the Dan Dan Soba, Bulgogi Frites, Salt & Pepper Calamari, and Papaya Salad. Dishes are prepared with care and well thought out with balanced flavors and textures. Whether sharing some plates over drinks with friends, a charming date, or any occasion really, Sagi is an absolute must try!

"A quick update to this older review... they have increased their outside dining space and added many new craft beers and are currently adding new wine selections natural and organic sourcing. The food..... well it's still to quote Wayne's World EXCELLENT!!!! Much better half and I dined last evening and thoroughly enjoyed an Ahi Tuna special and a Blackened Perch special they were both especially tasty. Despite all that they have faced during the past couple of years, they are not only hanging in but upping their game". SAGI = An absolute must try for elevated casual dining in a great setting in or out with great food, service and atmosphere in Wortley. Holiday weekend lunch/supper is Lupper a thing? was a delight in flavour, scent and visual presentation. As a relative newcomer to this location in Wortley they have made a solid first impression on myself and much better half. Fortunately my wife had lunched here previous so my expectations were set high going in, and I was not disappointed. We purposely chose a later afternoon dining time as we knew we wanted to try a few menu items definitely did not eat supper that evening and all four choices were solid ones. We started with the tuna Poke and the Octopus a fave of mine whenever I can get it and both choices hit the mark nicely. Much better half had a lavender inspired cocktail and I had the Saisson on tap Yuzu flavoured and they did the trick to get us refreshed. Much better half had the salmon in banana leaf and I tried the crispy tofu with egg and once again the dishes were spot on. The visual appeal as they come to the table combined with the aroma of the well combined ingredients leaves you a bit like one of Pavlov's dogs hearing the bell, the salivation effect is a real one and once you dig in, well tastebud Nirvana..... The service was attentive without being overbearing, the setting is relaxing with COVID protocols being followed and the value for dollars is IMHO an excellent one. The two starters could easily have sufficed as a main and we shared all four plates which were an indulgence to be sure...but a worthwhile one at that. I hope this is a long term relationship with Sagi as there is much more to discover.

Had a phenomenal experience here. Was walking around Wortley village and saw some items on the menu that piqued my interest. Seemed like an interesting Asian fusion place Lots of Vietnamese influence?. My server was extremely kind and courteous. The grilled octopus blew my mind. It's the best single dish I've eaten in a long time. Who knew octopus could be so tender? Anyway, excellent experience and I will certainly be back to try other things on the menu.

Food was DELICIOUS! Had the beef flank and calamari. Seasoned to perfection The atmosphere on the patio was so great. Can't wait to visit again!

We went on opening night and the whole evening was wonderful. There are many great choices on the wine list and they also have a great beer selection. It was hard to choose what to eat for dinner since we wanted to try everything. We ended up sharing a few small plates first and then ordered the Khao Soi and Dan Dan Soba noodles as our mains. Everything was so fresh and flavourful! We will be back for sure!

Great place, good vibe, amazing food! Drinks were amazing as well. Asian fusion with Vietnamese / Korean influenced. Will definitely be back can't wait to try other dishes! Went with 2 friends for dinner and we ordered 3 shareables and one main to share and it was good amount of food. All delicious! Our server Karen was excellent, her advice on our choices and drinks were spot on!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and Vegan options avail

An evening sitting out front at Sagi. Our friendly server helped us navigate the menu and drink selections. She didn’t rush us and probably sensed we were relaxed and ready for a slow sumptuous journey. From the exquisite drinks to delicious apps who knew Calamari could be so yummy?! to a few new drinks … to a wonderful lamb dish … all the way to a mouth watering panna cotta one that changed the way one believes in panna cotta … it was all so good say it like “goooooood”. Thank you for a wonderful Wortley experience. Sorry - food disappeared so quickly I shot no pictures lol
