Was there this past weekend for a quick drink and bite before a concert. We didn't have a reservation but got welcomed in when someone didn't turn up for their reservation. the place was packed and we had a great experience!. The guy on door was awesome - very attentive to guests - the waiter in the bar was nice and very prompt in coming over for a drink order when it didn't look like we would get a table. Seamless delivery of said drinks once we did get a seat in the restaurant. we had a couple of drinks and a plate of wings - all delicious and very fast for how busy the place was. Our young waitress Maya was very attentive and very good. Excellent service in the middle of a huge rush. I would definitely recommend it!
Thought I’d try their Express lunch special today. $10 for smoky Mac n cheese and a garden salad. The Mac and cheese is soupy and the cheese was curdled and fully separated from the sauce and pasta. Adding bacon was meant to make it smoky? Not sure what the goal was but this is very bland. This was barely edible. The salad is pretty but not enough to save this meal.
*EDIT* We came back July 2022 and got the same great service and delicious food! Olive R. Twists has become a family tradition whenever we are in London! Good food and service! First meal of Stage 3 reopening of indoor dining! Friendly helpful service. Good food, large portions. We enjoyed all the items we tried. They were out of a couple of things but that is to be expected during Covid. We will definitely be back the next time we're in London!
Great food, small portions, way over priced. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which would come with fries normally, for $23. I substituted the fries for a Caesar salad for an extra $2. The salad was only about two bites, had 3 croutons and one small piece of bacon, a little underwhelming considering the up charge. As you can see in the pictures, this was not very much food for $25. This was before the lettuce storage, and I do understand rising costs, but paying this much for what I got, left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus very poor packaging for the sandwich, as it was just wrapped in tinfoil and squished.
Attached to the Covent Garden Market. Great place for food and drinks. Burger and fries are really good, came complete with an olive! Patio area nice to sit in.
Horribly late food that was subpar when it came. Should have been offered free drinks or food but was only given a shrug. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND! Mgr/part owner definitely should not be in the restaurant business.
Meal - nothing special Bar place is small Waitress wearing that much short skirt that when they go down you can see their Cho-Cha, I understand that management wants bring more man who like to watch it, but place not for woman who want enjoy time. Sad:
We waited 30 minutes just for a drink and had to wait 1 hrs 30 minutes for our food that never came. And we were not the only ones that this happened to that day. Never again will we go there.
BBQ loaded potato skins are an absolute joke, missing 3/4 of the listed toppings and just beyond sad see pic. Quality of all food here is seriously low, everything I ordered was half off and I still feel ripped off.
I was there 2 nights ago, luckily it was warm so I could sit outside, as you can see the picture with the food is not very clear. Although this looks more like a pub I was really surprised about the good food and the portion was also huge. I had huge salad before the main and then I tried the chicken with mushroom sauce, pasta and mash. Let me also mention about the beer, I had a classic Stella in the well known glass. Amazing. If you’re up for a beer and something to eat you should consider this place. After finishing I had a walk downtown city centre!!
