Safeway Castleridge

Have been shopping here for years. The deli staff are always super friendly and attentive. The produce is always fresh and I generally find most of the ingredients I need for my cumin adventures. They have a self checkout for those more introverted people like myself but they always have at least two cash registers open for people that like the interaction.

Safeway is always clean and I have always had pleasant cashiers, unlike other grocery stores i have been to. This store is usually well stocked and has a good variety for selection. I do find the prices higher than some stores, but I am willing to spend a few more pennies to avoid chaotic stores with rude cashiers.

Special order a strawberry shortcake for Christmas and asked if they can put the cudstor in the middle cause that what makes the cake so much better and when I went to cut into the cake there was nothing in the middle of the cake, this is the second time it's happened not happy and will be ordering somewhere else for a cake for a special occasion.

Come in early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy grocery shopping the wide aisles all to yourself.Get really busy in the afternoon.Big store, but we'll stocked.Great.I preferred to buy cakes and pastries over here for my sweet tooth .Yummy.

Every time I go to this store I see some filthy individual or 2 walking around steeling. The store does nothing about it. No security. This sends the wrong message to those of us who work and pay money. Maybe all of us who don't like the economic situation shoild show up unbathed take what we want and walk out

2022 September 07. A new staff member Shivani. Charged 3 bags of bananas as I bought only 2 of them. She took half an hour to scan my items. I got running Late for my Job. When I checked at home No Discounts were applied on 2 other Discounted Items. So my Question is Why proper Training is Not provided before Dealing with Customers at the Till. Why I have to Pay 20 Dollars Extra Just because of Your UNDERTRAINED staff. As I was in Rush because going to Job and She took TOO LONG to scan my Items. I couldn’t check on the spot the whole Receipt . But I Overpaid for Items. I hope if management can do something and no other people got overcharged. Really Bad Experience. It’s Not money But it’s Quality of Customer Service I received. Never recommend this place to anyone. Can someone from management Answer my Questions here. GIVE PROPER TRAINING or someone Must be there to Guide her. That’s all I have to Say

Last week I ordered a big, half slab cake from this bakery for my sister's birthday party. First the lady couldn't understand for long time what I was telling her, it was hard to understand for her about me telling her about flavors and sizes. Their staff is so unprofessional and untrained. When we went to eat it, the icing was oily and the cake was dry. I came back the next day and I talked to the store manger and she seems like she did not even care, she offered me a free cake and I stated to her why would I want free cake when the birthday party is over. I'd never ever go there again.

Went to safeway today and one of the manager or supervisor, I think her name is Ashton was not pleasant. Everyone else at the deli station were really nice except the manager. She was clearly having a bad day but that's no excuse to be disrespectful and unprofessional towards her coworkers and customers.

Regular at safeway. Last visit met a new girl Shivani. Extremely pleasant and helpful girl. Proactively helps and extended support with my bags. Keep it up. Goof job

Not the nicest Safeway I been in. Employees are generally nice. Not the greatest store to recover theft. I had bought a couple small items before, and come home to find it was tampered with and half package was in it.
