Saboteur Bakery

The poor reviews for this place are ridiculous and frivolous...if you want no frills authentic french style croissants come here. If you want amazingly light and airy brioche...come here. You get what you pay for here, it's a bakery first and foremost; I used to go here when it was a pop up and continue to frequent them even after I moved to Tacoma. The folks who run and operate are pleasant, they are busy and no nonsense, if you are looking for fake smiles and commercial pleasantries go to the grocery store bakeries. The quality of the product and the professionalism of the owners keeps me coming back for more and more and more and more.....

Great bakery with authentic European items. My daughter and I went to the bakery hoping for quiche it is not served everyday so you may want to call in advance if that's what you're hoping to dine on. The croissants and brioche were terrific! If you're looking for a dine-in experience with lots of baked goods and dessert choices, this may not be the place for you. What they do make is quality, authentic, tasty treats, it's like experiencing a taste of Europe.

Smaller selection than most bakeries however, every item that's out there is worth trying. There's not quiet the same sugar overload that you might taste at bakery noveau, due the richness of the flavors everything ends up tasting much better. Definitely worth a trip to Bremerton on a weekend. But try to call in advance and set aside some goods since they tend to sell out fast. Hope at some point I can get their food in Seattle.

This bakery is hands down the best in the area. Their bread is sooooo good. And do splurge and try one of their croissants, scones, and/or tarts. Very delicious!!!!
