Sluys Poulsbo Bakery

Some of the best bakery items I've had. The vaiabe delights can be scene right through the window. On the other side of the bakery window, inside the store, workers can open the glass doors to fill your requested list. Your watering mouth anticipating the scrumptious delights. Sluys Bakery is a cultural delight of Poulsbo as well, having been around for decades.

Excellent freshly baked treats. Being an old man (in good health, that knows and cares nothing whatsoever about glutens, carbohydrates, blah blah blah), I love eating what they sell, when I get the chance. You should too. They have conventional donuts as well as the ethnic Norwegian (northern European) treats that some of us grew up eating as treats on occasions, baked by our moms, aunts, and grandmas. Pastries, breads, cookies and the like. I very, very rarely give 5 stars to anything, but this place deserves all of that. Nice people to serve you too. Even if you need to be careful about your diet, you should carefully plan to enjoy some of these treats on occasion! Lucky folks like me can enjoy it a bit more often.

Go here every time I am in Pouslbo and it never disappoints!! Great options every time (tons of things to choose from, you may be standing there a while!), and they never seem to run out of anything even when I come later in the day. Fresh and delicious, and good price points!

Best donuts around! They open super early so I can pick some up to bring to work. Staff are always smiling and helpful, even at 5:30 in the morning. Way better than what you find at Safeway, Walmart, etc, even if it's a little pricier. Definitely worth it! Favorite would have to be the Chocolate Viking.
