Clean, spacious, friendly service. Able to serve large groups well. Half price menu on Fridays and the food is delicious!!

Going to pubs/bars is something that I do at least a few times a week. Having read some good reviews for Sabina's, a friend and I decided to try it out on a Sunday night. Lots of positives - food was great (fresh cut fries!!), prices were very good (a food and beer special every night, plus evening specials for shots), and the service that night was really great, especially the manager and the servers we chatted with. Having had such a great time, I decided to go back with another friend of mine a few days later. We walked in and it was pretty dead. We were told to seat ourselves and then we waited. And waited. And waited... We sat at our table for 15 mins. Staff walked past us numerous times and looked at us, but I guess it didn't occur to them that two larger guys were sitting there to drink and have some food. I suppose we could have said something but we were so surprised at being ignored for so long that we didn't. We just walked out. No one said anything while we were leaving either. With so many places to eat and drink in the area, letting people just leave without saying two words to them doesn't seem like a smart way to do business. If you go in, make sure you wear crazy clothes or make lots of loud random noises so that the staff notice you. If they do, you'll probably get some good food at some good prices.

Had the fish and chips, 2 good portions of fish. The fries and 1 of the fish was really good but the other was left in the fryer too long, the batter was hard and the fish was dry. Didn't complain about it because it took so long to get it.
