Service very slow. Food came out at various times  there was 4 of us. Not a place to catch up with old friends due to music being too loud. But? Music was good & food also.

I really enjoyed my visit at Island Mix. Great food amazing staff & a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! Also thank you Ronaldo for being so kind & letting me know about some of the delicious food I got to try!

August 12, 2025 nI’ve been to Island Mix a few times and they’ve always been on point. This was my first time trying their all-you-can-eat buffet, and I really enjoyed it. The food selection was great, everything tasted fresh, and the service was friendly. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming, with a bar that offers extra seating and even a pool table for those who like to play. Overall, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy your favorite West Indian dishes.

Island Mix in Pickering serves up fresh, flavorful West Indian dishes that are consistently satisfying. The food has that authentic, home-style taste you’d expect, and while it may not stand out as particularly unique compared to other West Indian restaurants, it’s every bit as good. The portions are generous, and the seasonings are well-balanced without being overwhelming.nnThe atmosphere is lively, especially on weekends when the restaurant tends to get quite busy. Service can sometimes be on the slower side during peak hours, but the staff are generally friendly and accommodating. Overall, Island Mix is a solid choice if you’re craving classic West Indian cuisine in Pickering, with fresh ingredients and dependable quality.

Recently I brought my coworkers to Island Mix for a staff social. This was their first time going there and they absolutely loved the atmosphere and entertainment. Everyone was happy with the service and our server Shy was very polite and she came around often to make sure we were taken care of. She also got all of our orders correct and knew exactly what everyone ordered when bringing the food out.nnI requested a table closer to the women's washroom because most of our staff are women and the Manager Marlon made sure that happened and made sure that all of us were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.nnMy staff is extremely happy with the overall experience they had at Mix and will be returning for future work events and with their family and friends so they can experience it as well.
