Cocktail House Bar & Lounge

Friendly staff but I've only been here this one time. Was greeted with smiles at the door. The place seemed pretty clean, but it was dark. Arrived at 10 and there weren't many people in there but by 11:30 the place was full. Had a fun time dancing although I'm not really into the style of music played that night. A lot of reggae and they say top 40 but the dj played a lot of cheesy late 80's reggae. .. Still ok to dance to with a few drinks in you but would have enjoyed some new stuff a lot more.

20cad cover on weekends... the space is nice... i personally didnt like the music but the staff are friendly..... you cant use visa for less than 20dollars order at the bar... the bouncers are friendly but kinda harsh in their pattdown... i work in the airport and its not like that!

I would give it no stars. But have to give 1. Worse club ever. Never going back.

One star because of the horrible service. Don’t book anything here. Our friend booked a booth lastnight for her birthday we had a large group and even a limo but due to bad weather we were running a bit behind. About 5 min late to the 11:00 time they told her. She tried to contact the girl who booked the booth for her at 10:30 and left her messages on voicemail. No reply. We arrived and were told on top of the bottle service and booth she paid for now it was also cover for everyone ?... it was 11:06. Weather was horrible. They were also so rude about it. Then we went to go inside to be told to pay for coat check. We weren’t allowed to keep our coats in the booth if it had a hood... I asked why. They couldn’t even answer. If you have a sweater and a coat you need 2 coat checks. It’s just a money grab. Every single staff member at the front had no class or any mannerism. We finally get in and it’s dead. We had a decent time once inside. The bartender behind the bar was good. When the bottle service girl came out with the bottle with sparklers she literally just put the bottle down quickly and ran away. So finally time to leave and my husband was waiting at the front for me to get my coat from coat check and the bouncer says MOVE. This massive butch of a lady started bullying him around. He wasn’t even drunk or wanting to start anything so he tried to move out of the way but she just wouldn’t stop. I’m not sure why anyone would come to Pickering to go to this bar. I know I won’t be back. The inside decor also could use a lift. Bad carpeting and railings that belong outside a old house is what the Bottle service lounge consist of. No class. No manners. Some butch girls working who think their crappy paying jobs make them god. Security is awful and bullies. You can just be minding your own business and they’ll treat you so disrespectfully Bottom line don’t book anything here

This is a stupid club. The staff are very racist I wish I never came here. is that the way they treat people? Really? Just grow up guys. It's not our problem if we come from a specific part of the world. We're all proud of it
