Saba's Bistro 1705

Pleasant bistro within but not part of a Holiday Inn. Excellent half pound burgers cooked to order. Good section of local beers and IPAs. Friendly service. Would have liked to see a few more specials. Worth a visit.

I truly love finding a wonderful place that evidently nowhere near enough people know about yet. As I understand it the restaurant, while located inside of the holiday inn, is an independent entity. When we first walked in and I saw that the place was mostly empty, I had a sense of uncertainty. But I have to say that the incredibly friendly people and the wonderful food won me over in short order. My wife had a steak and I had the chicken delicately breaded in some type of bourbon sauce that was recommended as the chef's signature effort. They gave us large steak knives to go with the place setting, but my wife only needed a butter knife, and I didn't need anything more than my fork. The prices were actually quite modest for a typical hotel type restaurant. And when I heard that they had "Crunchy Hippie" on tap, I knew I had found a new eatery. We were too full for dessert, but I am truly looking forward to going back again and finding out more about that part of the menu. Upper end food in a casual atmosphere. I'm definitely anticipating my next visit.

Quaint place with a varied menu. Ordered the turkey club plate that came with crisp fries and split pickle. Sandwich was layered with a generous amount of turkey. Staff was very attentive to our large group and made the dinning experience informative as well. I gave it four stars only because the turkey seemed bland.

Saba’s Bistro is an amazing hidden Gem! Whether you prefer seafood or steak, appetizers or cocktails, maybe a burger or all of the above!!!! They also can provide catering to any size party needed! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling and local to the Maumee area! The staff is friendly and food is remarkable! I Love that it is family owned and conveniently located inside of the Holiday Inn on tollgate blvd. 10 out of 5 stars!!!! Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere. Parking: Plenty of parking , conveniently located inside the Holiday Inn Tollgate. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.

We just ate there. The service was perfect, the food was delicious. We order the ribs and the salmon. Some of the best we have had. We will definitely be back soon. Our new favorite place. A great little gem .

The walleye was delicious and the carrots were just right, light on the syrup and light crunch. That’s it, keeping it light.

Disappointed. Reviews were not accurate. Got the salmon with Dijon sauce which turned out to be barbecue. Vegetables were overdone. And the alcoholic drinks were very overpriced and weak. Wait staff was nice. Husbands glass was dirty, will not be returning.

Delicious food and such kind people working there. We had a big group and all mentioned how good their food was. Be sure to try their Mac 'n Cheese and Beef Burgundy

This place was amazing ! I’m home sick while traveling and the staff picked up on it! They made a drink named after just to make me smile ! A man sat and chatted with me asking all about me turns out it was the owner! The bartender Christy was amazing!! I’m hoping my job brings me to this area again !!

This was good, not great. The three meat balls were ok, I think the sauce needed a little more something. Then I had the garbage burger. It had cold slaw, French fries, sauce and pretty decent flavor. My server was very friendly and helpful.
