Salad was fresh and crunchy. Meatloaf was cold and bland. Which went well with the cold mashed potatoes.Turnip greens was well seasoned and hot. The ham was succulent not dry. The best for last dumplings was flavorful and light. Took more than 20 minutes for waitress to take drink order.
A side of fries is comical! See below for size comparision $3 for literally maybe 6 fries. Im dead bro. Maybe for a toddler. Anyways, we also ordered Grandmas breakfast sampler and mommas French toast platter. Pancakes were pretty tasty and had a little crunchy edge which I love. But they give you this tiny glass bottle of syrup see below next to fries However dont order scrambled eggs because it's just boxed ones and they dont even fluff them up to make em look good. Bacon was on the drier side too. So overall breakfast foods were rather disappointing. Maybe dinner will make up for it one day
Cracker Barrel Old@ Country Store My husband and I went to New York. Have lunch at the "Biscuit Barrel" restaurant. We are here for the first time. The walls in the restaurant are covered with decorative artworks from historical ages. The design style is very unique, which makes me feel very shocked! We reserved a table at 14:30 in the afternoon. There are so many diners. The taste is great, and it is very clean and hygienic. Here, I especially recommend it to all my friends! I will definitely come back next time I drive!
They really need better lighting in the dining area! We couldn't read our menus at 3 pm. The store part has great lighting though. They need to address that issue. Food was good and good portions. Service was great!Food: 5/5

Had a bus load when there. They could not handle their crowd. Girl was slow. Didn't take order correctly. Wrong or incomplete order came after one hour wait after order taken. In a table of 4 only one was correct. No extra napkins, drink refills, etc. When server questioned about orders, she went to get manager. He took care of meal, but the whole experience was ruined. Server was rude in her passive aggressive manner. I can only give 2 stars because food that was received was good.
Out for a friend's birthday. The food was delicious. Only problem was the wait and what unfortunately my friend the birthday lady experienced. Being seated was a breeze. We needed to change tables because more people were coming, and the manager was very nice and accommodating. Though we understood it was busy, we had to a little over 90 minutes before the food was brought out? Plus it took almost 45 minutes to an hour just for the snacks? This was I'm sure a lot for a waitress who was working during her second day on the job. The worst was my friend's order was not messed up once, BUT TWICE. With everything happening to the waitress, one of the birthday guests went to her to calm her down, which was a nice gesture. I suggest that new waitresses be teamed with more experienced waitresses for at least a month before they wait tables on their own. It won't be all scenarios, but at least there would enough of a time frame to learn tips and tricks to handle unexpected situations. This may be considered a challenge to do, but I believe it could pay off in the long run. I'm not too sure of how training practices are these days, but it wouldn't hurt taking it into consideration.
Our server was very polite and helpful with suggestions. Her patient with my friend whom had just lost his father and has NEVER been to a Cracker Barrel was beyond amazing. He took an extra meal to go and was blown away. Thank you so much.Food: 5/5
This was the second time I ordered take out. I ordered ahead 4 breakfast meals on a Sunday around 6pm. I arrived a few minutes early. It was delivered to me 43 min after the pickup time, they forgot my drink, skipped out on a third pancake, gave us baked beans that no one ordered and skipped out in the extra side of bacon. I spent 61$ for the worst experience and food I've ever had from a restaurant. Normally the food is great, but not here anymore.
My blueberry pancakes disappointment. Second time around everything was great. We were being watched even thought went spent a good amount of American currency.
