If you are in need of mental help crisis intervention I suggest you make sure your crisis happens between 9-5 during the work week. Otherwise you wait like everyone else for the attending ER Doctor while 5 babies are screaming for attention. You could try making an attempt on your like and hope the ambulance makes it in time and its during normal business hours. There is no emergency for a mental crisis. So in short kill yourself or don't but dont expect anyone at emergency to even give you fake compassion unless its during 9-5 M-F.

It was with great trepidation that I drove my father to the emergency at Soldiers Memeorial hospital in Orillia. He was clearly in pain and the car ride wasn't helping. He had seen three different doctors in the past three weeks only to be sent back home to suffer. In less than a month he had lost 20 pounds and aged considerably. I knew he couldn't go on like this. I also knew it was up to me to assert proper care for him if they tried to send him home like the other hospital and clinics had. Fortunately assertion was not necessary. My father received prompt and thorough care. The entire emergency staff worked like a well oiled machine and everyone was calm and personable. Eternal gratitude to Dr Tigchelarr for finally identifying my fathers problem and ensuring he received the best solution possible. And many thanks to nurse "ET" for putting both my father and I at ease during such a difficult time with his stellar bed side manner. With Thanksgiving just passed, I had to acknowledge that what I am most thankful for this past year is the excellent care my father received at Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

Better off going to the vet. Shoulder pain, my arm is all numb and also hurt. Was told at 10 pm to go see a chiro or physio and given 2 advil. No muscle relaxant or nothing to help.

Best emerg I have ever been to, handled my migraine very well. Amazing caring staff, got me a bed in a dark room within 30minutes. Very impressed, thanks guys :)

If I could give zero stars I would. My brother has been in and out of this hospital the last year with kidney stones. On the first visit he waited 5 days before they did anything, sent him home after surgery where he woke up in pain again from having the stone STILL there. The doctor said he removed it but in fact did not. The most recent visit was last Thursday when he arrived he was told the stone did not show up on the ultrasound because it was about to pass on its own. He was referred to see a specialist on Monday if it was not gone. The specialist does not even work on Mondays and now the following Wednesday (after being back in the hospital for the last 2 days) is about to have another surgery. The nurse on duty has been rude all day and the doctor operating now basically said that the other doctor last week was wrong. They all bad talk each other and pass the blame. It's a pathetic place and if you have the option to go elsewhere, do so!
