OSMH is a Great hospital to have your baby at!nThe nurses on the maternal floor are all awesome & really care for you & your newborn. My newborn had to go to the NICU & the nurses working there are also very fantastic & really include you in updates.nI highly recommend going here to have your baby!
I went in for my first ever colonoscopy. I have hemophobia shortly after they put my IV in I nearly fainted. The nurses were fantastic! One fanned me, another put a wet cloth on my head while another put ice on my neck. Shortly after they helped me to a gurney and in no time I started feeling better and although I had a long wait for the procedure, I didn't mind. The colonoscopy went off without a hitch and I woke up in the recovery area. I was given some apple juice to drink as well.
The staff were caring and attentive — nurses made sure patients were comfortable and informed at every step. The ER was busy but well-managed, and the triage process felt organized. The facility is clean, bright, and easy to navigate, with clear signage and a welcoming atmosphere. Parking is right on-site and reasonably convenient. The doctors took time to explain things in detail, which made the whole experience less stressful. Overall, it’s a well-run hospital that combines professionalism with genuine compassion.
My family and I had a very upsetting experience on the C5 floor.nStaff were dismissive and extremely rude.nA staff female staff member on the night shift was yelling to an elderly woman to lie back down, even while family members were present, and i was standing there, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable to witness. Others were just sitting at the desk not even attending to the situation or to deescalate.nnIn addition, my father’s care was mishandled. His medication was missed, and staff on the floor were not even aware of essential medications that he was to be administered and did not discover this until 3 days later even after POST- OP. Completely neglected nor any prioritizing or urgency.nnThe lack of urgency, communication, awareness, and basic attentiveness was alarming and made us question the level of care being provided. This experience fell far below what we expected from a hospital.nnI can vouch that the one nurse my father had was a male on the floor mentioned above was very kind.nwhen in emerge, the nurses and staff were very professional and kind and made it known that he was in good hands. The nurse we had in emerge ensured that we knew exactly what was going on, why and when and am very grateful for the care that was provided there.
I attended the emergency department on December 12, 2025. I was treated by RN Emily and Dr. Farhan. Emily was an amazing nurse and is well suited to work in the emergency department. She is calm, compassionate and efficient. Dr. Farhan has a great bedside manner and was very thorough during his assessment. He treated me with respect and compassion. Thank you Dr. Farhan and Emily.
