My wife and I checked I to the Rum Runner for our Anniversary and were welcomed by Tim with the friendliest greeting I have ever had in any hotel or B&B . He and the staff are amazing. The room was fantastic and the bed a luxury to sleep on. The restaurant and atmosphere there was also warm and friendly and the food was terrific. My thanks to all involved in making our stay at the Rum Runner Inn a truly remarkable one.

The number one requirement for a hotel is that everything works as it should, and that was definitely the case here. It wasn't anything particularly fancy, but our room got the essentials 100%. The bed es extremely comfortable too. The restaurant was great: we had the traditional lobster, and it was delicious. The waitress was new, so service wasn't as on-point as the rest, but it was her second shift; I wouldn't hold that against them. The view from this restaurant is very nice. We got a spot by the window and could see the whole harbour from there... good stuff.

The beds were the best we have stayed on. We had rooms with private balcony. This ended up being roped off ends of a common balcony. It was nice butnot really private. I wish they had parking. We came into town later amd had to park far away then moved in the evening. Overall i do recommend.

Our room was beautiful. We stayed in a suite overlooking the scenic Lunenburg harbour. The bed was incredible. The restaurant was unfortunately closed, which is why I gave 4 stars. Having said that, close friends have told me the food is great so if I return it might have to be given 5 stars.

Love it great location. In the middle 9f the town walking distance to all the local shops in the area.
