Ashlea House Bed & Breakfast

Best experience we have had!!!! The hosts were amazingly welcoming, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was absolutely the best I've ever had, 3 courses and healthy. I will be recommending this place to everyone.

The Ashlea House B&B was fantastic. The house was beautiful and the staff were very nice. My girlfriend is gluten free and each breakfast was a gourmet meal, with alterations for her diet where required. Our only problem is that we only had 2 days to spend in Lunenburg and weren't able to spend more time there!

Great location. Only a few minutes to walk to town. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for the 4 of us. Breakfast was a 3 course meal served at 830 am. It was huge! Johannes and Mariana were so welcoming. A very nice place to stay in Lunenburg.

Our original plan was to stay at the Ashlea House in Lunenburg NS for only one night on our road trip through Nova Scotia. Lucky for us our plans changed and we were able to stay there for 2 nights. B&B's are a great way to travel and I have done this for years. But the Ashlea House B&B is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Lynn and John are EXCELLENT Hosts, as are their two lovely dogs Schooner and Dorey. The rooms were spotless, great location and wonderful food! Top this all off with Lunenburg being such a beautiful town and we have put it on our 'short list' of places we plan to go back to.
