Lunenburg Board Of Trade

Very nice park with great views over the surrounding countryside. Facilities were well maintained. We arrived after the office was closed @ 17.00 but all our paperwork was there. Very peaceful and near the harbour. There’s a steep climb back up but not too far.

Has full services, close to downtown. Lots of hills to walk to get downtown and back. Campsites are mostly gravel, no trees, lacks character. Was a bit uncomfortable there with a homeless person camped below the hill. He liked to wander around, searching in garbage area and eating dinner in warm washroom area. Was the most expensive campsite we stayed in of the 11 we stayed in on our trip east with the least amount of character. Will not be back.

It’s walking distance to the old town, right by the visitor center. Very quiet at night. Very friendly staff since they also run the visitor center.

This is the weirdest set out campground I have ever seen. The power and water services on many sites are located 40-50 feet from the place your meant to park on. Its hard to find an RV with a 40ft 30A wire. The fire pits on some sites are located too close to your parking spot. Some services are on the opposite side to the vehicle. The office closes very early. The grass is not well maintained.nnBonus it's a great location close to Downtown so you can walk to the bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.

This campground can’t brag about the sites, which are pretty close, non-shaded or private, but it can certainly brag about everything else: super friendly staff but then who isn’t in Nova Scotia??, bath house is soooo good with great, hot showers with plenty of water pressure, and very clean facilities. Location? Can’t ask for anything better with a few minutes WALK to waterfront Lunenburg. Would I go back? Absolutely.
