Greet location to explore Lunenburg and Chester. Quiet park, we stayed at site 16 and had a water view. Baths were modern and private. We had full service , lots were level. It’s not private , no trees essentially a large parking lot but it served our purpose to do some touring. Good stay thanks
Travelling with my family across Canada from British Columbia. This is by far the WORST campground we’ve stayed at along the way. There are not nearly enough showers for the amount of campers even with all three showers one was broken going. It didn’t help that disrespectful campers decided to shave their whole entire body, leaving hair in the sink and everywhere else, or others taking 30 minute Hollywood showers, but still, the bathroom/shower accommodations are ridiculous. They were filthy and smelled terrible. Would not recommend this location to anyone who hopes to have a shower.
I don’t know who’s posting these pictures but they have nothing to do with the campsite. Over night is fine because then you won’t experience the full effect of the water flooded shower situation every morning and not enough toilets/showers for the amount of sites available and the staff takes no pride in an RV Park they have no stake in other than a summer job. One star for location for walking downhill to Lunenburg and then back up again.
Very nice park with great views over the surrounding countryside. Facilities were well maintained. We arrived after the office was closed @ 17.00 but all our paperwork was there. Very peaceful and near the harbour. There’s a steep climb back up but not too far.
Has full services, close to downtown. Lots of hills to walk to get downtown and back. Campsites are mostly gravel, no trees, lacks character. Was a bit uncomfortable there with a homeless person camped below the hill. He liked to wander around, searching in garbage area and eating dinner in warm washroom area. Was the most expensive campsite we stayed in of the 11 we stayed in on our trip east with the least amount of character. Will not be back.
