Bluenose Lodge

Such a lovely experience! My husband and I only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again. The host (Andrea I believe her name was) was very welcoming. She told us all the best places the locals eat at, and different sites to check out. The room was very cute! And they deliver a little breakfast (muffins etc) outside of your door in the morning.

My husband and I stayed at the Bluenose Lodge Sept. 20, 2017. We had a room on the 3rd floor. It was also minimalist in the extreme. The baseboards were dirty. There was no hairdryer. I asked for one and was told it was in the room. By the time we came back from eating and searched the room there was nobody to advise of the lack. This is supposed to be a bed and breakfast but there is no place to eat. No chair or table. The breakfast consisted of a box of cheap pastries, a couple of oranges, and a health bar. We went out to eat. For the price, definitely not worth it.

Was very disappointed with this lodge. Staff was accomadating when we asked to switch rooms. Very noisy. Our room was not clean with many areas of very thick dust.had not just been there for a day. I took pictures. I had to get my husband to clean the corner of my bed because of dead dandy long legs there. Wall paper all wrinkled in the corners of the walls Staff were friendly but that is the only positive. Mary and Ken

Great atmosphere, the house was friendly and very informative. Don't go here for modern amenities and complain about no tv and air conditioning like others did. That's not what this place is about it's about atmosphere and character. If you want tv, ac, and room service go find a Best Western. Loved this place, would definitely stay again!

We had a great time here. Close to everything. Hostess very accomodating and friendly. Breakfast was delivered in basked outside our door.
