Had an amazing experience the couple times I've been here after breaking my leg, lovely and caring nurses willing to help with the push of a button.nnThe food I received during the week I was there after surgery amazed me for what I would expect from hospital food and they kept me well medicated during my stay constantly checking up on me and providing IV upon request if my pain was too bad.nnNot bad wait times in my experience but having a broken leg they kinda prioritized me all and all I really love the staff I love helpers and I love the quality of care I received, I hope not to be back again haha but I'd know they'll get me comfortable and get my care done right :
Absolutely incredible experience on June 26, 2024 at Pink Zone using new ED Minor Ailment Patient Pathway MAPP. Booked online and seen the same day, for UTI after Ruff Mudder!, after calling GP for issue and his staff said unavailable until next week . Pink Zone was fantastic. In and out in 45 mins. Staff were excellent, welcoming and efficient. Got prescription filled last night and already feeling relief today. Thank you so much for this amazing program, keep it up! Genius idea! Other patients raving about it in the waiting room and most were informed through word of mouth. Word is spreading. Thank you for proving me such excellent service.
Went to ER with a kidney infection.. was cleared by doctor to leave but didn’t leave for 3 hours after as my nurse “Caroline” forgot….. to give me my antibiotics… and left for lunch… when she came back, she decided to take a baby for a walk… and 45 mins later decided to remove my catheter.. HORRIBLE staff. After 21 hours of aches and pains and no food, when finally cleared to eat, it took her another 1.5 to bring me a sandwich and apple juice that was sitting in a fridge 2 steps behind her. If you tried to speak to anyone who wasn’t your nurse you get straight up ignored!!
I have been to the ER at RVH three timws in 3 weeks. Something is wrong with the management of this ER. Nowhere else do patients have to be seen 3 times before being registered. You walk in and see a “clerk”, then wait to be triaged by a nurse; then are registered by a “clerk” yet again. So 3 points of contact when every other hospital has only two. In addition, when I presented at the ER with chest pains, I was never triaged and so I sat for an hour in a waiting room without chairs. I eventually left. If I was having a serious issue, I will never know. The other two times I was in rhe ER, I only waited an hour but my experience with the ER doctors was terrible. I left the ER feeling worse than when I arrived. If you can drive to a different hospital, or can wait to go to an urgent care clinic, then try to do that.
I went this past Sunday, it was quiet because of holiday. If the government would give some licenses to the good qualified doctor s, the hospital could get back to what the need to do. Look after emergencies instead of people with colds and sore backs . Ford has ruined it all.
