Centennial Beach in Barrie, Ontario, is definitely one of those spots you'll want to hit up if you're looking for a chill day out with the fam. We headed there recently and had a blast, even though it was a bit on the nippy side. The beach itself is pretty spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and soak in the views.nnAnd let me tell you, the views are worth it! You've got this beautiful stretch of water that just kind of pulls your eyes out to the horizon. Plus, the beach is clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Despite the chill, a lot of folks, like us, were out there. Interestingly, many preferred to enjoy the view from the warmth of their cars, parked up with a front-row seat to the lake. Can't really blame them – the wind off the water was brisk, making it a perfect spot for those who wanted to enjoy the outdoors without wandering too far from their heat source.nnOverall, Centennial Beach is a great pick for anyone looking to relax, catch some scenic views, or just spend some quality outdoor time with loved ones. Whether you're braving the beach on foot or taking it in from your car, it's a spot that invites you to come back, whatever the weather.
Not the cleanest water but nice enough grounds and landscape. Good park for children and a nice walking route
Winter is just finishing. Today is beautiful. So many people are here. It is very good.
I visited Centennial Beach in Barrie and overall, I had a decent experience. The beach itself was a bit small and very crowded, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the water. Additionally, parking was a bit of an issue and it took me some time to find a spot. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food trucks that were present on the premises. They had a great selection of food and drinks that were both delicious and affordable. Furthermore, the washrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Overall, while the beach may not have been perfect, I still had a good time thanks to the food trucks and clean facilities.
The place is very clean and has a washroom access. Same as enough parking a bit pricey 10$ per hr. Has bike line and playground area for kids big enough for summer days. Not many restaurants around here and may be busy and long wait times during summer. Beach is ok for small kids big kids Has the option to play in the inflatable park.
