10/10 experience with doctors were so nice to me and nurses too but this one Ukrainian lady nurse with light hair was so mean to me and instead of being reassuring she kept saying things to scare me because i was bleeding a bit after my surgery and when i asked her politely i wanted to speak with another nurse she told me she wasn’t gonna take care of me because i asked to speak with another nurse she stormed off the room was around 12am-1am a very nice doctor came in the room to clean me up and i told her what happened a new nurse came into the room to greet me she was nice . Thank you for the hospitality and your great services Hospital Royal Victoria !!

I recently spent several hours at Royal Victoria while a friend was in surgery, and my experience as a visitor was very positive. The hospital felt clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of options to eat and places to sit while waiting for news. I particularly appreciated the big outdoor area, which provided a nice change of scenery during the long wait.nnThe hospital also has convenient amenities, including a coffee shop, a cantina, and easy access to a subway station. Signage throughout the facility was clear, and the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall, I felt comfortable and well-cared for while waiting for my friend.

I want to share my extremely negative experience that occurred at Royal Victoria Hospital. Yesterday I spent 14 hours from 3 p.m to 5.30 a.m in the emergency department waiting for medical assistance, and it was undoubtedly a terrible experience.nnThroughout the entire waiting period, I felt intense stress and anxiety. Even though there were other patients in the department, no one could provide clear information about when I would be seen. This uncertainty only exacerbated my condition.nnUnfortunately, such a long wait has left me shocked by the healthcare system in Canada. I understand that medical facilities face a high influx of patients and that situations can vary, but waiting 14 hours is unacceptable and not normal.nnI hope this review helps bring attention to the issues patients face and leads to improvements in the quality of care in the future.

The wait times at this hospital are SLOW and it’s not at all just because of volume of patients, they just work slow. It’s a fashion show there, and staff spend so much time mingling compared to other hospitals and other jobs. I can’t tell you how many convos of “cute pants” I over heard. No care about patients, only dinner plans. They are careless, cold, mean, not compassionate, and would rather brush off people than solve a problem. I left here with breathing problems and was told “anxiety” and ended up in St Mary’s being told I have asthma. After years of anxiety pills not working, I finally felt relief with inhalers. Years went by and I ended up back here, and once again, careless. I’m laying in bed right now with extreme pain and inability to breathe and I was sent home with antacids. I check symptoms for acid reflux, gerd, you name it, and of course nothing matches. I’ll be going to St Mary’s today for a good opinion. I asked staff for my results, scans, etc and they refused. They gave me a post it note with 5 letters on it but no way of obtaining it, no email, no number, nothing. They took out my intravenous, threw a cheap prescription at me, and ran off. After sharing my experience with others I came to the same conclusion. They purposely misdiagnose people so you are discouraged to come back. They know what to do, they just choose not to do it. Awful. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Edited :nI am presently here for chest pain.nI have been waiting for over 4 hours and have not yet seen the doctor.nI have had tests done within 5 hours and the staff was very kind and caring to me.nBlood test done flawlessly and my wants respected as well.nIt sucked to wait. The triage sucks and can be better, but the actual service.. it's been great.
