Love this place! Great facilities. Helpful staff. Well maintained trails with lovely varied views. Kids love the hands on activities in the museum and kids room.

Great place for a quick scenic hike. I recommend doing Ansel's cave trail. It's 1.5 miles and very scenic. The hike took me about 45 minutes but I stopped to take photos and soak it all in. The trail starts right across from the nature center. The nature center is totally worth checking out too! I went in before the hike so when I was on the hike I was educated about some of the wildlife and plants I would encounter.

They have a great 5k called "the cave man crawl" which is a trail race through the park. Definitely worth while!
