If it’s not the terrible quality lumber that disappoints you, the customer service will do it. Only a handful of employees that are pleasant to deal with. We went in to buy a patio set that was listed on-sale on Rona.ca but upon arriving to the store we found it was listed at regular price. We showed a helpful associate that it was indeed on-sale online, to which they agreed to match the sale price, which was awesome. They said they have to sell us the floor model because they had none in stock, they cannot order any from other stores/warehouses and what they receive is all they get, which was also fine by us. But when we asked about potentially getting a discount on the floor display model the associate told us they couldn’t offer us a discount. Then a separate associate jumps in to say “well you should be lucky we’re not charging you $40 for assembly fee”. So we asked if the manager could make us a deal (a common practice on floor model products), the associate called the manager and was told to tell us “No”. The owner/manager wouldn’t even take a moment to come meet us personally, wouldn’t talk to us on the phone and simply refused to discuss discounting a floor model set. Now we didn’t go in demanding a discount but I feel as a matter of principle most managers discount floor model products.

Absolutely terrible customer service. By fat the worst experience I have had. Thete is never any stock which I can understand but for the owner to be that rude about someone telling him there bad experience says alot about the business and why things are run so poorly.
