RONA B.H. Allen Building Centre Ltd

This is a good neighborhood building center here in North Vancouver. Many years ago I worked for my father in his building supply, in North Kamloops. Stacking two by four's in sub-zero winters is one of my favorite memories. The intense work left me breathing out steam and kept me warm. I love hard work and being outside. These days this facility is pretty much enclosed and is a drive through facility. I came for gardening supplies today. I am aware of the coming fall prices which will be soaring as supplies dwindle. Growing my own food will be an adventure. Buy a chest freezer now while the prices are cheap. Stock it now but do not use it until November. This will last for three months minimum. Shop online after November for everything. Blessings!

This Rona has different pricing and unable to return Rona products from other stores if they don't carry it. The manager, Mark explained this Rona is a franchise, meaning the owner's get to do what they want. We've been coming here for decades and never had an issue with products and returns until now. We highly recommend you just drive a few more minutes to the Incorporated Rona not franchised on to 1160 East 3rd and have proper service and money better spent.

Very bad experience at this Rona which looks like a 50's throwback. They do not honor the Scanner Price Accuracy Code even though Rona is listed as a participant. The senior cashier was rude and unhelpful. The item I sought after finding it online was $21.99 but I was charged more than double that for the identical item. As I left the store, I wondered why anyone in their right mind would buy anything here; the pricing was truly ridiculous.

I can't rate this store more since the store is not organizednIf you need help, it will take forever to find someonenAlso, safety is not what you find in this store, and if you don’t look where you walk you can easily walk on nails and end up to hospital

Went here for a new locking door handle and met Nadeem. Hes a friendly and super helpful guy and he made our visit pleasant and easy. I very much recommend going here for any hardware needs. Thank you Nadeem!
