Had to take my 3 yr old son here for a sore throat as a walk-in today. Saw Dr Steven's sp?. He was amazing!! So good with my son, listening to him even though he was busy and took the time to show me his throat. He was truly wonderful! And the receptionist was super friendly as well. Really happy with our experience. Would definitely recommendthis clinic and all the staff!
Great doctors, Absolutely awful receptionist! She either doesnt answer the phone and when she does she is very rude. The clinic opens at 10am, i had to call about 20 times until she decided she wanted to answer the phone; and when she did she had an an attitude and asked what can she help me with it; i asked her how come i had to call 20 times for me to get in touch with someone, are they busy? She completely disregarded my answer and asked me if i wanted the doctor to call me. I asked het again why did it take so long for someone to answer the phone seeing as they just opened, she said i had no right to ask her that. Nevertheless i booked the appointment and asked for the manager info, but terrible terrible receptionist!
The receptionist was fantastic and Dr. Stevens was respectful and saw me the day of. He was well at acting swiftly to help me get in order with my concerns. I will be continuing to come here while I live in the area. Thank you kindly.
Dr Stevens wouldn't check me for fever after telling him I've been feeling feverish out of other things! On asking him if I have cough or congestion right after he checked me for congestion, he tells me "You tell me if you have cough"? He's a funny doctor & almost pre decides that nothing is wrong even if you're miserable, all this while Dr Stevens is listening to songs & have corridor conversations in between with people. Receptionist made another sick patient wait 15 minutes just to hand over change and print receipt. First and last visit here, not recommended.
This place is a joke. I showed up for my appointment with a pitch dark clinic. The Docter was 50min late. They prescribe heavy pain killers every time I go there instead of fixing the problem. Waist of government funds
Dr. Steven is incredibly kind and thoughtful. The lady at the reception answered phone calls promptly everytime I called and the location is right next to the TTC Landsdowne exit at Emerson Ave. Visited during a snow storm and was the only walk in open for quite a distance. Can't recommend enough.
I was visited by Dr Stevens. They don’t see you as a human, they just need to get you out the door no matter what. Nobody in that office cared that I was in a horrible amount of pain. I’m just another delusional woman who just thinks something’s wrong with her. I learned nothing about my problem and got no acknowledgement that something was wrong. Whatever had happened to bring down the doctor’s mood that day, ended up landing on me. Had never in my life seen a more dismissive and insensitive medical professional.
Welcome to Ultra Bloor walk in clinic. Home of the absolute friendliest receptionist Macy and the grumpiest doctor Stevens My wife and I have been there a bit more than 3 times now as we find Macy the receptionist incredibly inviting and helpful. Then comes the unfortunate dealings with the always consistent Dr. Grumpy Pants Stevens. "there's nothing wrong with you" he will say after we ask elsewhere that indeed there is something terribly wrong. "No I won't prescribe that for you" " I'm going to ______" but never does. Oh well, any doctors in this city without a pickle up their ______taking new patients ?
I would highly recommend this walk in clinic as well as the physicians. I had a fantastic first patient visit, both the receptionist and the doctor were welcoming and reassuring. It’s unfortunate to see the others that had negative experiences but from my perspective it was great. Definitely recommend for a walk in clinic.
Lady at the desk laughed at me and offered no support. They say they are a walk in clinic but Apparently thier doctors are working from home. Dont know how that helps patients at all who are there for walk in services. They have a sign outside that says walk in. Maybe take it down. Terrible terrible experience and offered no options to help my medical concerns. Doctors need to be in office to be able to properly assess patients. Pathetic.
