Dear sisters, If this is your first time, read carefully. This clinic is your clinic. Make the appointment for as early in the day as you can so you have the rest of the day to rest and recover. Make sure you have nothing else to do for the rest of the day. Your body & mind will need to rest. Dress comfortably, comfy socks. The staff was good to a normal level, nothing extremely outstanding as I have read. Maybe because I didn’t require much reassurance. The lady “councillor”’was great and so was the nurse during the post-procedure. Well, this nurse was actually amazing and caring. It makes me so proud to see some nurses out there that love what they do. The procedure will hurt, but raising a child would hurt much more. It is a bearable pain, much like bad menstrual cramps. The IV meds help a lot. Some other clinics use pills, not effective. It takes approximately 2-5min but it feels like 1 minute. In my case I usually throw up after sedatives so if you have never taken any, keep a plastic bag with you once you leave the clinic they will have a bucket next to you My experience with another clinic was rushed, painful & traumatizing. It was a busy clinic and they don’t have a holistic approach. That’s why I decided to face my fear and change clinics. Thank God I did it. Bloor West Village was great in the matter of not rushing, even though the nurse in the room with me giving the IV seemed a little impatient. They have to understand that there are a million things going through our heads and it can be hard to follow simple instructions without being told twice Maybe she was having a bad day, we all have those. I would still choose this clinic 1000x Thank you so much for helping us girls get through this & keep the good holistic work 10/10

I went in for a medical abortion and after briefly talking to one of the women working she convinced me to have a surgical one as it’s way faster & less painful. Staff and nurses were all really sweet and comforting & kept reassuring me that I was in good hands because they could tell I was scared. 100/10 would recommend choosing this clinic. They made me feel safe and comfortable.

This place is amazing. The wait is a little long but they do tell you that you can expect to be there for 2-3 hours. The nurses and doctor are very nice and educate you well about the procedure and reassure you that it’s very quick so there’s nothing to worry about. I felt very mild pain during the procedure thanks to the iv sedation and I even got an iud the same day! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone .

No word can explain how caring and gentle the doctor, nurses and receptionists are. You will benefit from showing 20mins prior to your appointment time, to fill out all your paper work. The service was very fast and painless. After the procedure, they put you in a room where you can lay down and relax with cookies and ginger ale. I will recommend this place to anyone because of how gentle and caring they are. don't be afraid ladies, you're in good hands if you decide to choose their services. Great clinic, I just finished my surgical abortion and writing this review on my way home. Everything went smooth, I didn’t wait for a longtime. The surgical procedure is fast, and the sedation really helps a lot. Every staff is supportive and kind, makes me calm down a lot.

I had a surgical abortion completed here recently and was absolutely terrified before the procedure. I cannot say thank you enough to this clinic for making such a positive experience out of the awful situation I found myself in. The entire process was flawless. I received counselling beforehand where I was offered oral sedative, was placed in a waiting room and then taken in for my procedure. The entire procedure was a maximum of 5-10 minutes, and I felt no pain during it. I remember very little due to the IV sedative that I was given. I received cookies and gingerale as soon as I entered the recovery room and was assisted by nurses with any questions or concerns I had. In total my appointment was 1.5 hours. If you are considering this as an option for yourself, I would highly recommend this clinic. I can safely say that I went into this so scared of the procedure, but left feeling nothing but relief and gratitude.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at the clinic, It’s wasn’t the greatest day for me to make such a decision, but they really help making sure everything will goes well! I was super nervous about it before walking into the clinic, but how the social worker, doctor, and nurses treated you make me feel so much more comfortable. Once again, thank you for all the help and detailed explanation. You guys are Truly amazing!

This clinic is the best. I just had my D&C done. I was scared in the beginning but everything went smooth, I didn’t wait for a longtime. The surgical procedure was fast, almost painless and the sedation really helped a lot. Every single staff member is supportive and kind.

Went here for my first surgical procedure, all the staff were incredible and treated me kindly, they made sure I was 90% sure about my choice and were non-judgmental about it. They provide drinks and snacks for after your done and give you additional pain medication if needed. I would definitely go here again. :

I was so nervous going in this morning. I already had one bad experience like 2 weeks ago with another clinic and I was so skeptical going in but the stuff was so nice and understanding. I give major props to the consultant she made me feel so calm I think we made each other's day today with the jokes,talking to her made me feel much better, this decision was extremely difficult to make and she understood that, ensured me that everything would be ok I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else the procedure went smoothly. Im so thankful the whole team did a great job.
