Just came to know clinic was closed due to "expropriation" as automated phone message was also telling to check the number before calling. I went there due to Dr. Pushie and occasionally Dr. Lobo and since many of medical records are in one place/clinic they still have paper records in this digital age which can be a hassle transferring to another clinic . Mixed experiences overall Dr. Pushie the best though when he starts talking its hard to interrupt him, he listens in beginning then he keeps talking till the end and time is over. Dr. Sharma who used to work during covid times was a unreliable one - I went for a annual check up which was cancelled during pandemic times but he forged some physical check up diagnostic reports into my records any way though he was sitting in his chair 10 feet away from me. I learnt of this medical fraud from Dr. Pushie next time I visited the clinic to get results of my blood test etc. I did not report this to Health Canada or OHIP because I just bailed out due to covid times and services made by these doctors. But decided that would be the last time I ever see Dr. Sharma in my life. Also these doctors in the clinic do not tell you where to report any grievances as they seem to not want patients to know that. I also learnt after clinic closed, medical records are with rsrs.ca which will keep them for 10 years after its closing. To acccess records, you need to pay about $100 to rsrs to send you by email all the records.
I've been going to this clinic for nearly 17 years now. Absolutely zero negatives when it comes to my regular Dr. Lobo. The only thing is I have to book at least two weeks in advance to get an appointment. Dr. Pushie is the other doctor there but last I checked he was only doing phone consultations. The staff are polite and have always been very professional.
I've been calling to book an appointment for a while now and each time I got a call back letting me know that there was no room for phone consultation oops-try-again moment. This time around, I was told that there will be no availability for phone consultation for the next upcoming days, and was advised to seek help elsewhere. *sigh* there was a time when this clinic was virtually empty on a regular basis and you'd have to wait less than 30mins to see a doctor. And, sadly the like is happening across clinics in Toronto. If you go over to SeeTheDoctor.ca you can chat with a doctor for non emergency consultations. The wait time varies daily, but I got to speak with someone after approx 2.5 hrs. You get a text message letting you know when it's your turn so you're not waiting the entire time. Then you simply get a call from the doctor.
Unfortunaly I learned today that the clinic is now permanently closed. Note on entrance read: "Due to the expropriation by Metrolinx this clinic is permanently closed."
staff was nice, it was simple to make an appointment, they even propose me to call me when it's my turn. I didn't feel rush from the doctor, he took time to explain stuff but I was kind of worried that didn't wear a regular while coat, just a regular sweat shirt whith dog's hairs on it. Also I realize he didn't monitor me for 15 min after giving me a shot, that should be part of the process. Nothing wrong happen but feel like I won't return there
My medical centre of choice for over 30 years now. Always friendly front desk with excellent doctors in house. Sometimes very busy, doesn't hurt to call ahead if you're a walk-in patient and check the wait time.
This is hands down the best walk in clinic in the city. Although dingy upon first entrance, the staff are friendly, and the doctors are amazing. I've never waited longer than 20 minutes and have only had pleasant experiences with everyone working there. All the doctors have different specialties making it very easy to find the right one to treat you. Today was the first time I had my blood taken there and the nurse was a complete pro! I have difficulty with blood because my veins are so small and she got it on the first try! I WILL NOT go to another clinic in this city.
Had a horrific experience booking my appointment with this walk in clinic. Please DO NOT go to this clinic as the lady who was verbally abusing me over the phone for over an hour without any solutions to my problems. This lady is the manager and owner of this clinic Christine Chau and has no manner whatsoever to her prospective patients. Save yourself pennies and go somewhere else with a peace of mind.
I waited 4hours and then they told me it’s my turn - then i ended up waiting for another 1.5hours in the clinic - really? Even at the emergency i never waited 5.5 hours. The old male doctor here takes about good 10-15mins breakgod knows what he’s doing in these times between patients. So if you want to waste your time in your life, i strongly recommend to visit this place if there was an option to give value of zero even minus stars i would have given no values to this clinic
My go-to walk in clinic in the city. The doctors are amazing and unlike other walk in clinics, the doctors don't rotate so there's a pretty good chance you will see the same doctor again if you request them. They are very thorough, unlike other walk in clinics. I always feel like I am in good hands when I have to go there
