This French-and-Italian inspired restaurant is a super fun place to go for a night-out. As a twenty-something millennial, it's a place for special occasions: the atmosphere is just as important (if not more so) than the food itself. Portions are on the small side (which you might expect), but the night we went, we got fun samplers "compliments of the chef." The vegetarian options are good (if you care about that sort of thing) and the aesthetics are wonderful.

This was my first time dinning at ROÌA. The food was exceptional. The wait staff attentive and the owner/chef very active in his business and making sure his guests are enjoying their visit. The atmosphere is stunning and adds to the experience. Will be returning to ROĪA and recommending this eatery to friends.

A very beautiful building, you never feel it is a crowded place. The staff were very friendly explaining and taking orders from us, given we were a big group for dinner. They did validate parking in the crown garage, else it is a hassle given its the busiest New Haven road. Will definitely be going back.

Great ambience! The open bar had an impressive collection. The staff was very friendly and attentive to detail. I would have given it another star had the food been upto the mark. The food needs a little more work in my opinion.

For brunches, this is a 4/5 start place, but for the restaurant week it's a 2 max... My review will be based on the 2017 restaurant week. The service was ok, but the whole 3 courses meal took 1:30 for lunch, with time between courses of more than 30 min, between starter and entree (my entree was a calamari pasta, which does not require assembly). The deserted I selected was not available, the alternative was fair. The checkout also toke some time, from me putting the card until I getting it back to sign... Overall: do not recommend for restaurant week, but do recommend for brunch.
