Wonderful restaurant and bar. Seating can be tricky on busy nights so be sure to make reservations ahead of time if you're planning to eat here. They always have a great assortment of food and drinks, but my all-time favorite and most recommended is their basket of tots. You've never had tots like these in your life! Trust me. Also, be sure to try out some of the different sauces they serve with the tots! You won't regret it. 👍

My burger wad delicious. The honey truffle burger is the TRUTH!!.. However, my girlfriend and i waited a good while after being seated to get our food and for service. Seems like they can use more staff to service customers. This place gets busy very fast, they should hire more waiters to suffice.

My husband has food allergies, so eating out is a stressful luxury. We ate here before a show at College Street yesterday. They had us in and out with plenty of time to spare, despite the place being absolutely packed. Our food was fresh, hot, to order, and most importantly -- they double checked multiple times about my husband's allergies to ensure his food would be safe. The staff was seriously top notch, and the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. I can't wait to visit New Haven again so I can make an excuse to eat here.

Yes, the burgers are good but the Patty does not melt in your mouth as it does with my favorite burger joints out their. The time we well done, flavorful and worked well with the roll it was served on (great roll!). Definitely a nice beer selection, with plenty of local, and regional selections. Service was good but not memorably so. The lowest mark I have is for our seats and that is they were constant blasted by the cold air coming in from people entering the building and my buddy and I were seated about 15 feet away from that entrance. So all in all a great still just don't sit near the entrance, and if it's all about the patty this may not be the stop for you.

Prime 16 is my go to place in new haven when I just can’t decide. I have never been disappointed by a burger from here. Their specialty burgers are never disappointing, or you can create your own. Tons of local beers. Great happy hour. Top 5 downtown!
