Steven Lee met up with me to see if he had an alternator that would fit my obscure Delica truck. He spent quite a bit of time educating me, comparing alternators, and came to the conclusion that he did not have one I should purchase from him. He was very deeply knowledgeable, and very honest, open, and sharing. Steven is our "go to" guy for anything to do with our Delica. He is very responsive with any questions and advice. Any time we've needed a part sent to us, it's in the mail almost as soon as you get off the phone! And Steven of Rising Sun may be the most knowledgeable person in Delica imports in all of North America. We really appreciated the helpful information Steven shared with us and the time he took to answer all our questions about importing a Canadian Delica to the USA. Unfortunately, the current covid border closures have made it impossible for us Americans to go see the Delica in person before importing it, and we ultimately decided that we were not comfortable buying a $17k car sight-unseen. So, per Rising Sun policies, Steven happily refunded our initial deposit, no questions asked. He was very professional and cordial in all our conversations, and it became apparent through hearing him talk that this work is not just his job, it’s his passion and family legacy. He sounded truly uncompromising on quality, which is a rare trait to find in the used car business! If you’re a Canadian, I highly recommend you snatch up his Delicas before the US border opens, as they are in high demand down here, and once that border opens again, his lot will likely be picked clean.

Rising Sun is my go to supplier for most everything I need for my Delica. and having Steve to turn to for advice about working on and maintaining my Delica is a big factor in my confidence in owning and working on my Delica. A neighbor down the street from me just bought a Jasper model off of Steven and she was really happy about the process and hasn't had anything bad to say about it. I have been buying parts from RS for over 7-years now, and time-after-time I have always been pleased with the quality of parts, and speed of shipping.
