Take my car there after ben rerended. They fix body parts but that's all . Finding more damage in the car that was not chack out . Helps ICBC but not me . Think twice next time. I got rear ended and came by to get my car looked at the following day (at 5PM - 30 minutes to closing time, sadly I was that person). I didn't expect the crew and the staff to be as accommodating as they were and could not have imagined getting better service.
The team not only took my car in that night, they also made sure everything went smoothly with the insurance claim AND was kind enough to contact a rental company on my behalf to come pick me up with a vehicle. The repairs were done immaculately within TWO DAYS and they also returned the rental car on my behalf. To top it all off, they detailed my car and fixed an unrelated issue at the same time. Hats off to Kyle Pun and the team. Thank you!

When the store manager was changed recently, the quality of service has dropped compare to before. It seems the good technicians have gone as well as we have experienced very long turnaround time and several new mechanical issues after the repair.

I had my vehicle towed into Kirmac New West after a front-end collision as it is ICBC approved(not sure why anymore). They gave me my car back when the repairs were completed, and I assumed everything was right with the car. Two days later, I was travelling across Second Narrows Bridge to visit my mother in North Vancouver when my dashboard lit up with a message saying, "Check hybrid engine - Stop the vehicle in a safe place immediately", something you really don't want to see in general, but even less so in the middle of a busy commuter bridge and over 20 kms from where I live in New West. Luckily I was able to pull off at the first exit after the bridge and stop at Canadian Superstore before damage was done, hopefully. From there, I had to have the vehicle towed to Toyota NorthShore to be diagnosed, and also get back home to New West afterwards. Luckily, my mother had BCAA so the tow didn't cost us anything and she drove me home afterwards. When I heard back from Toyota several days later, they told me that the only problem was that the coolant was not filled. When I inquired about leaks or any reason that the coolant would be at such a low level, they had no explanation other than that it was not properly filled. After hearing this and getting my car back, I called my ICBC adjuster who agreed to send me a cheque for the cost of the diagnosis, since it was clearly a problem with the ICBC accredited repair shop I had chosen, that being Kirmac New West. I returned to Kirmac to see if they would pay for the cab I had to take to get to North Vancouver to pick up the car. A girl working there named Kelly or Kelsey (not sure) responded with a yes and that it just had to be approved. This was approximately Jan 26th 2018.
February 15th 2018. I have received no form of compensation nor any dialogue confirming that it had been approved. So here I am, three weeks later, writing this review, after finally calling head office to get the problem dealt with, and now they are sending the cheque, a week from now... Not only did they not agree to pay for my cab right away, they put my life and my vehicles life in jeopardy by not filling the necessary fluids. This could have caused LONG TERM damage to my vehicle, which apparently wasn't much of a concern for them, seeing that it seemed to take FOREVER to get a response, even though they were clearly at fault. I am astonished that they couldn't just give me my $50 for the cab ride, which I gave receipts to them for. They gave me all kinds of excuses like the women who deals with these problems has been away for two weeks, but honestly, I don't care and you should have someone else available to deal with these types of issues. I will never consider bringing my vehicle into or recommending Kirmac in the future, in fact I will hopefully ward people off with this message. No one has three weeks to waste waiting to be repaid for YOUR mistake. The manager offered me NO other compensation though I was clearly frustrated, as I think most people would be. Not good enough Kirmac, not even close.
I received my cheque on February 26th, a month after all of this began.
