Rice to Go

My favorite Chinese food in Edmonton. Go to the Cannabis store, get a J, and then order this for munchies, you will Be In heaven. It’s always hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. They always delivery very fast I never waited long. I really recommend the special egg foo young and lemon chicken - SO GOOD!!!!

Ordered beef w/rice noodles, Singapore noodles, pea pods and beef and sweet and sour pork and it was excellent! Delivery was super quick and even got a free bottle of pop. Prices were super reasonable compared to the two other places I like and portions were generous. Haven't ordered from here for over a year, but I'm glad I did this time! Thanks for the great food and service.

We were looking for a place at the west end to get food quickly, and one we haven’t tried yet. Found Rice to Go. The staff were courteous. Our food done in about 10 minutes. Food was hot with generous servings. We ordered Kung Po Chicken, Gai Lan with Chinese Mushroom and Mushroom Foo Young. I like that there are a lot of vegetarian options. Will come back to try the other dishes.

Wonderful take out. I recently placed an order and they made a small mistake on it. It happens. The guy on the phone was polite, helpful, and quick. They allowed me to keep the wrong item, but made up a fresh correct item of generous quantity that I picked up. No argument, no big deal. Very professional and excellent service! Highly recommended!

Nice new addition to the westend as decent Chinese food is tough to find unless downtown. Take out only here and they were busy on a Friday night. Ordered a meal for 4 and the servings were jam-packed and smoking hot. Took about 20 mins or so for our food but the staff were very apologetic for the wait and tossed in some extra spring rolls for me which was a kind gesture. The value for what you get is exceptional and of course each dish tasted great and seasoned perfectly. An added bonus for me was the food wasn't swimming in oil and had generous portions of meat, unlike other westend Chinese restaurants. This place will be a regular stop for our family for sure.

Fast a friendly service. The portion sizes are large. The food is cooked well but lacks in flavour. The Szechuan Beef and Curry Chicken show that they are spicy on the menu but they don’t even have a hint of spiciness.

This is a pick up only restaurant. I have been going here quite regularly from about 3 weeks since they opened. It was such a treat to find a place in the west end that had great Chinese food. The last few times that we have ordered from rice to go the quality of their food has dropped off significantly. It's been average at best. It's still ok but just ok It looks like I am back on the hunt to find good Chinese food in the west end Alex Paterson

I am grateful for a yummy Chinese cuisine option in the west side. Cha and Jumbo are both closed due to the pandemic and options have been slim in this part of town. I ordered sweet and sour pork, seafood chow mein, deep fried shrimp, deep fried chicken with garlic soya sauce and a side order of French fries. All excellent! My only complaint was the seafood sauce dip that came with the deep fried shrimp. I would have preferred sweet and sour sauce as a dip instead. I highly recommend and would order from here again.

Finally a place that has really good chinese food!! The last few times weve gotten chinese food from other places we were sooo dissapointed. But Rice to Go was excellent! every single dish we got was delicous. If you are in west edmonton definatly check them out. You wont be dissapointed. Great flavor! Really good green onion cakes, fried rice, ginger beef, Chicken balls were so good, good quality white meat in the chicken balls! Like I said everything was good, try the Combo A!

Meh, not the worst I've had but not that great. The beef and broccoli was okay as was the fried rice, but the chow mein was greasy and half the noodles were hard and crispy not sure if they were old or just over fried. Dry breaded ribs had a decent flavour but were fatty and too big, most had 2 bones. Szechuan shrimp was basically seasoned with "franks hot sauce", not my idea of Szechuan. As an aside, when ordering, I clearly indicated delivery to hotel but no plates /cutlery provided. All around, disappointing and will not order again.
