Restaurante La Tortilla Mexicana

Tucked in a corner of a small mall in Goldstream, this shop/deli/food bar is worth the search. An very good array of Mexican groceries and a selection of great tasting take-away food. There are a few tables in the shop if you just can't wait. The owner is very pleasant and helpful, even attempting to assist me with my atrocious attempt at Mexican language. His suggestions were taken to heart and we enjoyed an excellent repas. Ice cream is available however, it appears that it may have been sitting there for awhile as we were just coming out of winter. You will enjoy exploring this store, it is an adventure on it's own.

When the owner greets you at the door and proclaim they have, " The best Mexican food on Vancouver Island", I thought well, that's some serious shoes to fill! Yeah, you know where this is going. Damn straight it was the best! So authentic and fresh! Had the pork tacos . Can't wait to go back and try everything. Keep up the great food folks !

This place is awesome. After having live in Mexico for 2 years, you miss the food and this place makes up for it. Every time I'm there I tried something different. Their tamales are great and especially have a go at the burrito. It is a meal all on its own. Definitely worth the time.Food: 5/5

Amazing assortment of groceries and delicious food! They have some awesome hot sauce like Valentina's which is so delicious. Ricardo is also super friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to taste more of their food.

Was welcomed into the store by a very respectful gentlemen, showed my partner and I around the deli and grocery areas which has a wide selection of Mexican spices and goodies. Food is handmade fresh daily, even down to the tortillas. Amazing food, excellent service, will be back in the future.

This place is one of my favorites for mexican products in Langford . You can find authentic Mexican stuff as Mayonesa Mc Cormik, Jabon Zote, Roma, aceite123... And lots of different mexican brands. On the other hand, you can find frozen homemade chorizo, tamales, empanadas etc. I had red chorizo and it was very good, juicy and tasty. They have a deli bar so you can get fresh tacos dorados, empanadas, tamales, desserts, etc. So yummy!!! I don't have enough space to write all the amazing brands and products they have lol. I am so happy they open this store so near of my house in Langford.

Stopped for a fast bite in front of canadian tire Langford. Ordered 3 tacos and wow they were nothing less than perfect, finaly a nice clean friendy taco truck in langford. And hey everyone, it's worth the drive from victoria

Great food and amazing service, the only authentic tacos I’ve found in greater Victoria. Ricardo was so accommodating and even took the time to show us how he makes the tortillas from scratch!

The folks here are outstanding. I highly recommend ordering their in-house tortillas that they make to order. Best tortillas I've had, very much worth the 10-ish min wait.Food: 5/5
