Very cute place with the joyful interior in a great location. We visited several times, each time it was excellent food, authentic music and friendly atmosphere. Here are chalks and paper for kids to play with. Definitely it's one of our fav places in Victoria. Thank you, always a pleasure to come here.
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect or what we wanted on a late Sunday morning. But whatever we were thinking, the end result exceeded our expectations. The “sopa” was very hearty, almost like a chili. And perfectly spiced for my tastes. The salad was similarly a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Sadly not open for dinners.
We found this gem recently as we have just moved to James Bay. Great Mexican decor and friendly service. three kinds of Nachos in the menu and they are half price during happy hour! They were packed with goodies and come with a side of the Big Three ... sour cream, salsa and guacamole. There is a wheelchair ramp entrance on the side but be aware that the washroom is not accessible. Will be going back soon.
Cute little place just around the corner from the harbor. Only open 11 to 5 or so, but it's happy hour all day here with $6 beers. Menu is somewhat limited as they only serve Mexican fare.Food: 3/5
Decided to pop in at lunch while on a walk. Smaller little restaurant and only one person serving, but the service was amazing, super friendly and very prompt. The food was incredible and I would go back here in a heartbeat.Food: 5/5
We had passed by this restaurant many times in our visits downtown, and we finally went in and enjoyed the lunch special, enchiladas…excellent. We are sorry it took us so long to visit. Nice location within eyeshot of the inner harbour. Great service and fabulous food.
When you cant go away for a tropical vacation visit Santiago's. The music is festive and vibrant, the food is delicious and very affordable. Bright due to the large windows that allow you to look unto a garden and people watch in this James bay gem. The burrito is super filling and Tim and Kim are some top notch human beings.Family friendly or romantic this place somehow facilitates both.
Cute spot right by Parliament. However it is super overpriced for the low quality. Quesadillas were dry with barely any fillings. You get better Mexican food at Mucho Burrito or Quesada which are fast food joints.
Darling fun unique cafe by the water. Had late lunch here prior to getting on the Victoria Clipper Ferry. We had Pesto style nachos, cider beer and margarita. Great service, good and atmosphere oh and dont forget to try their home made hot sauce!! Yum!!Wish I had a place like this near my home. Highly recommend.
Great food, James Bay prices, good service, lunch hour on a Thursday in October meant not much of a crowd so the food arrived quickly. Santiago beef Nachos were delicious. They have a pretty Awesome Happy hour between 2-5pm. $5 bevvies and half priced nachos. Will definitely come back for happy hour adventures! :
