Restaurant Les Têtes de Cochon

Service was so bad that it made my fiance and I very uncomfortable. Felt like we weren't welcomed there. The food was good and wine/beer selection good.

Had a very nice saturday lunch. Arrived at 1pm, restaurant had a couple of occupied tables buy no need to reserve a table, although it's not a big place. Started off with a butternut squash, maple and IPA beer soup which was delightful, keeping the right consistency and texture. House bread ia super moist and soft, with a great crust. Up next the biaon carpaccio which was tender and flavorful, especially when topped off with fresh pepper by the courtesy of the waitress. For a main course, ordered the smoked meat sandwitch, which had a decent amoht of meat in and falvoured with the right amounts of muatard and relish. French frize was great and crispy as well. For a desert, we enjoyed the lava cake with the home made bluberry ice cream. We had to drag ourselves back to the car, happy and full.

Having suffered the slakes of dry steaks bought from the godless IGAs and Metros of Sainte Adèle, Les Têtes reminds us that there is a greater power and He ages his meat. Not content with just beef, these zeus' of protein have called also upon poseidon to provide fruits of The sea, riding the Crest is the salmon, of a colour befitting the word, so rarely seen.

A terrific Restaurant using unusual, fresh & exciting ingredients to produce wonderfully innovative dishes. A beautifully styled interior with a great view is topped off by genuinely friendly bilingual service. I have eaten all over the world and this is a 'hidden gem' in Les Laurentides. It is now our regular favourite whenever we're travelling North of Montréal. Not to be missed... oh yes, and it's also tremendous Boucherie!
