Story

We provide therapeutic floating, a treatment that will allow you to enhance your health by taking a break from the world with a relaxing, unforgettable experience.

You float effortlessly in a special pod of water with a high content of dissolved magnesium salts. Free from gravity, sound, light, and any physical distractions, tension is released and energy is redirected inwards, allowing you to recover from the demands of everyday life.

While floating, your muscles relax and your body heals. Stress and pain melt away while your posture aligns and your mind becomes still. You achieve a feeling of weightlessness, relaxation, and deep rest that cannot be found in any other experience.

Visited Rest Nest for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful time. This wasn't my first float, but it was one of my best - the place was clean, the service was friendly, and helpful. And most importantly - it was so quiet. I was very impressed. Some of the other float clubs in the city are impacted by subway noise or streetcar vibrations - and despite being right across from a busy fire station - Rest Nest pods were super duper quiet and I got to feel completely and wonderfully relaxed. I'll be back!!! They also offer yoga and RMT massage services!

I've been to this place many times. Very happy with the staff and facilities. Clean and inviting. The float experience is amazing as well as being therapeutic. Try it for sure. Peter K

Absolute great new way to relax and release stress. Staff member on duty was very helpful and informative. From questions about the actual floating therapy to incorporating it into your health plan.

Honestly had an amazing experience. So I love trying new things, but most new things I try typically don't live up to my expectations. In this particular case I was actually able to surpass my expectations with this experience BECAUSE: Through floating, I realized a lot of OTHER things that I need to do to work on my body to achieve the health that I'm aiming for. I realized when I was in the pod that my upper back was SUPER stiff (as always) and then I started cracking my back all the way from toy lower back up my spine until my neck, but realized most of my upper back around my shoulder blades won't move! So as a result of floating I've committed to working on restoring mobility to my upper back through meditation and massages to loosen up the tension in my upper back, as well as yoga to begin exercising the mobility in my upper back. Totally worth going for at LEAST one float--and like all things, floating is one of those things where you gotta do it more than once to start seeing the true benefits like meditation and pure relaxation (amongst other things I'm sure, I just don't know what other benefits it has aside from perhaps the salt water which is awesome for your skin!)

Super friendly staff and excellent facilities! In a time where your attention is a precious commodity, floating is an excellent way to hone your mind. It is extremely relaxing and relieving of stress. When I leave the rest nest I feel calm, at peace and content with nothing more than my own company. Floating is the perfect way to retain your sanity in a hectic world.
