Republic at the Linden

Both Republic restaurants are amazing! The ambiance is exactly what you want on a Friday night and sets the stage for an enjoyable evening as soon as you walk in. The friendly staff makes everyone feel welcome. However the best part of Republic is most definitely the food. We started with deviled eggs and bacon wrapped dates, and they are now two of my favorite appetizers. There is a great selection of drinks for those looking for craft beers, cocktails, or just a good wine. We shared the Peruvian chicken and salmon and they were both out of this world. If I could give this place more stars, I would. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool vibe and great food!

This is the best restaurant in Hartford, including West Hartford. The menu is unique, yet appealing to mainstream and more refined taste buds alike. The prices are decent, staff is sweet, and the ambience is well-appointed. Everything ties together nicely in this one establishment. With Republic at the Linden as stellar as it is, there's no need for any other restaurant in Hartford.

The food here is top notch and the beer selection is great. It is a nice little place tucked away so you might have to really look for it, but it is worth it. There is a nice area to sit in on the main floor, or you can walk down to the bar area and grab a seat. Everything is clean and tidy, and it is a welcoming atmosphere Every time I have been here, the staff is super nice, and they are attentive without being over bearing. They have also made some excellent recommendations on both food and drink. I would highly recommend this place as a great spot for a good lunch, or if you want to have a nice dinner.

This place is very pretty and located conveniently close to the capitol area exits from 91. The decor and vibes are great. The Food and menu is good, fun, and interesting. I just don't think of the service as 5 star service.

Really good food, not so good service. After we received our food the server did not come back to ask us how are food was until we were almost done. No second drink or desert menu was offered. Only the food might bring us back since we enjoyed what we eat.
