Reign Dessert Cafe

Excellent new dessert shop in Markham. Starts off with the chic interior design with those huge framed mirrors and nice couch. The friendly staff was great. The sweet aroma of the bubble waffles being made was intoxicating! They have a variety of dessert offered, especially the variety of boozy ice cream. Really loved the "Hennything For You" boozy scoop but they have a variety of boozy flavors. The bubble waffles are perfectly made. They have a variety of flavors but the Mango and Oreo are amazing! The magic happens when the boozy scoop meet the bubble waffle and this combination takes it over the top especially with toppings like Mochi, gold flakes, etc. Their specialty drinks were awesome. The "Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade" really hits the spot for me. They even have Cold brew, Espresso varieties and other dessert and drinks perfect for that sweet tooth. Parking at the front, additional parking at the side and the rear streets for a very short walk. Yum, yum, yum.

so excited that this place has opened up in markham east! they have the aesthetics nailed down with many photo ops available in the store! They serve up bubble waffle ice cream alongside all the cafe drinks and even some special drinks on their menu too! The difference here is they have alcohol infused ice cream! Many different flavours of alcohol ice cream and the flavour profile is so prominent in each boozy spoonful! Service was also on point! Never felt rushed when thinking of what to order! The ice cream and waffles are great! Very cute and well decorated store. The girls working the counter are also very kind and accommodating.

A super cute and aesthetic spot! Love how they have so many options to customize your dessert and that there’s ice cream combos for 2 people. I did find that 1 scoop wasn’t enough for the whole bubble waffle so towards the end I just had to eat the waffle on its own - so would recommend getting a double scoop to avoid this!

Amazing location, the ice-cream was also delicious, and the array of toppings make this worth checking out. The staff and owner both know the menu well, and were able to provide me with great recommendations. Will frequent this place often. : Got moose tracks with caramel and gold topping

Reign Dessert Cafe is amazing!!! Everything is made in-house! They have many ice cream flavours and, did I mention, boozy flavours too! You can create several combinations even with their egg waffle cones. I know what some of you  might be thinking, 'I've tried egg waffle cones elsewhere', and I have too, BUT, they come in many flavours too. Now I can't say I've seen more than the usual original, chocolate & matcha, but Reign's got it! So enough about what they make, not only does the product speak for itself, but the atmosphere does too! It's so chill, trendy and extremely welcoming. If you're struggling to choose what you want, the lovely staff are there to help! Into Instagram-worthy shots? If so, they've got you covered, with beautiful floral backdrops that really make your scoops pop! You've got to try it!

The interior looks amazing and the ice cream flavors and toppings were top tier. The staff and owner were very welcoming and made great recommendations. Definitely coming back often I got an Oreo waffle with moose tracks ice cream and a butterfly lemonade.

They have a wide range of flavours including vegan for their bubble waffles and ice cream! omg the names for their boozy ice cream flavours are just sooo unique! They also offer beverages from coffee to their reign signatures this is def THE spot to check out for boozy desserts and refreshing drinks!

Reign Dessert Cafe has been open since August 2021. I've been eyeing this café for several months now since seeing some of their very Instaworthy waffles and ice cream pictures on IG. They specialize in waffles and ice cream including boozy ice creams, and drinks including lattes, iced teas and affogatto. We got the milk tea waffle, vanilla toffee ice cream, and matcha latte with oat milk. I appreciate the plant based options for soy, almond and oat milk with my latte. The waffle was hot with crisped edges. There was a subtle sweetness but mild milk tea flavour to the waffle. The ice cream itself had a nice pull and texture. I appreciated the basic vanilla ice cream as a vehicle for the chocolate toffee chips which added a bit of sweetness and texture. My oat milk matcha latte was smooth and creamy and unsweetened. The matcha flavour was noticeably bitter which I am okay with but others may prefer a slightly sweeter matcha latte. Service was a bit slow but staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend checking them out.

We got the crown combo and the Deja brew ice cream with baileys and strawberry latte are hands down my favourite items of the day. We ordered Deja brew ice cream with chocolate egg waffles topped with mochi and cinnamon chips and the combination is divine! The strawberry latte has a lot of strawberry bits and the espresso is top quality straight from the espresso machine my friend also enjoyed the vanilla toffee crunch ice cream with milk tea waffle, and butterfly pea tea lemonade, we will be back for sure!
