A great place for bird watching or simply a nice long walk outdoors. Bring some sunflower seeds or peanuts to feed the chicadees - on quiet wooded stretches of the path they will come feed off your hand. Equally good for a quiet walk alone or for a family with kids. If you are coming from the island of Montreal in summer, you can drive to Chatoguay or you can park at Lachine and get the river boat to the island and back to make it a whole day's outing. Word of caution - this is swampland so avoid in June or come prepared with a load of bug repellent! The mosquitoes in early summer are atrocious. In spring, bring rain boots or call the visitor centre in advance to check if any of the paths are flooded.

Great wildlife site. Trails could better maintained but the variety of birds and wildlife is superb. The Café, is a great place for fantastic food after a lo g walk, fresh and great tasting. A must stop.

This is a great place for a walk on beautifully manicured trails that can accommodate a jogging stroller. There is lots of wildlife to see along the way! My kids and I love it!

Exceptional site for birding. Great place for walks. Beautiful and relaxing. Come early on weekdays. Lots of people on weekends. Fee to get in Free parking.
