This is a great little isolated place to visit. There is a small patch of forest that can be walked through and you can sit by the windmill with a perfect view of the lake. On weekend there is often staff dressed in old age clothes that give tours of the home and windmill

It is a beautiful park with lots of green space and a tranquil atmosphere. The Windmill and the river adds a picturesque view to this location. A lovely place to admire nature.

I lived in Pincourt growing up, so I'd frequently visit Pointe-du-Moulin park on the weekends. The windmill is the main attraction but it's really just as worthwhile to visit the park for the swamp (which has walkways over it), small creeks, and views of the St. Lawrence River, Lac St. Louis, and the downtown Montreal skyline in the distance (with Lachine in the foreground from this vantage point). When I was a kid, there was also some spectacular autumn foliage for the final kilometre or so of Boulevard Don Quichotte approaching the park east of Boulevard Perrot, but not so much these days since that golf course was built, but there are still plenty of trees within the park. If you don't mind the swampy smell, Pointe-du-Moulin Park is one of the best places in the Montreal area to have a picnic lunch while watching ships go by.

Nice place. Bring your mosquito protection. The Moulin is a very nice peace of architecture but there is also more to that place. Check it out.
