The Île Saint-Bernard is a place where the wildness is very well maintained. It is the home of birds. We, human beings are only visitors. I hope our visits didn’t bother them too much.
An absolutely beautiful sanctuary to walk on the trails and enjoy the forests, the marshlands, the wild birds, ducks, and much more. A stop at the tip of the island to enjoy Lace Saint Louis is a must.
This is a very beautiful getaway just 30 minutes from Montreal! You can go and walk all around the island and have a nice picnic looking at St-Laurent river. You also can go and rent a kayak or a paddleboard. Amazing place to visit, tons of green.
Amazingly beautiful and quiet place to walk and admire the scenery, encounter deers, do birdwatching or just sit and relax by the St-Louis lake formed in the St-Lawrence river. There's a small fee to enter the Reserve. You can do boat rides $ and there's a ferry to Montreal $. Restaurants. Parking lot and restrooms.
A place where you can spend your inner peace. A beautiful view of the water and the perfect place for the sunset.
Wonderful place to hike or do a picnic . Bring lots of water it's a good walk ! Also don't forget to bring sunflower seeds ,many birds will come feed in your hand..
Beautiful place
Love the place relaxing.
I've been twice and both times were to pick Organic apples, there are so many different types. The different sections are well marked and you can get a little map to carry with you. There are 20lb bags for $22, 10lb for $10 and 5lb bags for $7 which are given out before you go into the orchard. There are many walking paths and snowshoe trails in the winter. I hope to explore these soon. There is a Bristro Restaurent, a coffee shop with delicious looking cakes, cookies, soups, etc... The toilets are super clean!!
Beautiful nature preserve.
